I wasn’t going to bother posting this but after thinking about it I thought I should. I recently purchased a R33 GTST SII because I’ve never owned a turbo (mid life crisis) & like to tinker so after many months of research R33 was what I wanted. I’m a very mechanical person & could strip car & rebuild without problem but because it’s an import & I don’t know existing condition of mechanicals I decided to use a workshop to bring car up to scratch. I did my research on workshops & had a talk to owner about what I wanted & budget I wished to say within. Now to cut a long story short it just didn’t work out the way I planed & what I had asked for full stop. I never again will have anything done at this workshop unless last resort because I have no trust in them following my instructions. I now will be doing all work myself because I can (except tune) but not everybody is mechanically minded so my tip is before you get anything on your car done write what you want done out & make repairer write price & sign it. Then when car pick up time you have legal document to cover yourself incase of problems. Anybody know any workshops south of Sydney?

my rear end has a rattle that bugs me, i had the suspen rebuit but its still there & have been told pillow mounts are the cause due to slight movement they have. now i'm not a noob & no one would buy a car new with a rattle in rear end so there must be a fix so any help would be great. parts replaced whiteline kit - shocks/springs king springs nismo adj shocks all rear rubber bush inspected & reported ok

yep they can't suppy shocks had my kit on order for 5 weeks told so many stories about arrival. i know it can be hard dealing with overseas suppliers but with todays electronic devices you only need to use 1 to find out answers & for a company to not know when its supplier is sending gear or not sending gear for that matter is really sad. i got to yes there in aus on docks but customs take there time, to sorry we can't get fronts. the kit is great prob reason so hard to get but informing customers of delays before ordering & supplying correct info about supply would help a great deal so your car doesn't sit on blocks for 5 weeks. i'm lucky some secondhand shocks became aval & fitted king springs, then all other parts of whiteline kit they could supply.

just a point if you look at series 2 R33 spec airbags are a option even drivers side. the reason I know is because I have a 96 & has no dash flap for pass air bag & no driver (the plug is there if fitted & yes some time in car history it may have been removed)

np good luck with sale I'll just get them from JustJap (i do know your are less buy $45 but add postage & risk factor & I would rather drive down the road to get them)

Rugby rocks but the ref is having to muck impact these days, hope they fix it buy world cup. AU VS NZ are always the best to watch bar none but I feel very uneasy about this 1 after NZ floged SA, now if we could just light a fire under our guys we might stand a chance.

very nice example series 2 just what i want but i'm to old for crome wheels & low ride hight now if it had adjustable suspen my search would be close to over
