BUMP!

Hey, Ive just started doing 3d cad work and basic CFD. I have the software etc to do more complex CFD but I have just been modelling air flow through cooler piping n such. Want to eventually model plenums and exhaust manifolds. Im not interested in this as a profession or anything, Just a bit of a way to put off uni work. If anyone has any spare dimensions for flanges, 25 and 26 inlet runners, plenum specs etc would you be able to share? Im not trying to steal a thread or any business or anything, I just want to get better at modeling real things. so PLEASE if someone has some dimensions for something I am all ears Cheers, Lukas

Hey guys, Sorry if this is a dumb question. With the front facing plenum I put on, Ive had no luck making the AAC/IAC fit. I have pulled the plenum off and am planning on getting some extra fittings put onto it and the AAC/IAC valve installed properly. My question is! When the idle air (least I think its the idle air) runs from the IAC through that bit on the coolant rail underneath the runners, and then into the plenum, does it matter which direction the air pass through that plate thing? What kind of price are you looking at for those?

Changing injectors will make it run very rich. It will be injector fuel as a percentage thinking the injectors are 380cc :S I find it VERY hard to believe you struck it lucky with the z32 and injector sizing, but I don't disagree that its possible. Man on the PFC you can easily tell the ecu that u have a z32 and calibrate your injectors, so chuck the PFC back in, get some new plugs and try again. I dont see how the hell the car runs better on a stock ecu, especially with a damn 35r!

Did you get the base fuel pressure set right and fix that leak? Doesnt change anything when you turn the CAS sensor around? Yeh definitely post up when you find what the issue is/was

Oh ok so you have spark. Sorry man I meant ignition as the fuel actually igniting. So it did that a few times and now you just have nothing? If you still have spark I really can't suggest anything but the fuel. How long ago did you get this 91 octane fuel? Also what is your fuel pressure?

Hey man If you set the injectors up in the hand controller you would have set the scaling for the injectors (as a Percentage) and then you would have adjusted the lag/latency of the injectors (+ or - a small number like 0.12 or something). That should be enough to set your new injectors up for now. When it comes to only being able to get shit fuel, i had a similar problem. If it is only a small small town, the fuel sells slowly and they only had 91, chances are that the fuel is shit. If you have the chance to travel a little further and grab some fresh 98 I would highly recommend it. I bought "premium" from the local servo in my little town and its was absolute shit. When you are turning it over, are you getting ANY ignition at all? Does it even try and fire in the slightest or will it just turn and turn and turn? EDIT: Have you set the base fuel pressure? Is it possible to just use the stock FPR for now while you try and get it running?

How long was the car sitting there while you were working on it? You probably have stale fuel. It can't hurt to just flush your line and put in a fresh 20L. Smell the fuel that is being pumped in, it will smell bad if it is stale. If your still not sure, rub some on your skin, if it is stale it will burn, if its good fuel you should be fine. IF your still not sure just get a fresh few litres.
