Hey there, my mate's Power FC hand controller is flashing extm in the etc. menu on his hand controller for his Power FC ... He didn't get a manual with the controller and we are just wondering if anyone can tell us what this means and how to fix it ... thanks guys ... Ian

Yeah man ... the head unit has ample power to run em ... infact, I know someone with a set of type r's running off their deck too ... thes things are putting out 30-35WRMS of power eh ... not too shabby ... they need to have direct battery links on them to run ...

erm, they are the new school Alpine Type S 6.5" Splits ... they aren't too bad ... I have a 60x4 head unit up them too ...

Hey mate, I just got a set of Alpine's for mine, all nicely installed and it looks pretty much factory ... Most people that see it don't mind em and they sound OK ... well, they give you sound anyways ...

I think the main thing about installing steroes into R33's is that you can get to the important things (Battery, electronics, and fuel pump) ... I had an amp mounted where most people here had it, but I pulled it out just recently ... why ? Becuase I had to change the fuel pump and it was a bit of a pain in the arse ... I am putting in a temporary sub box (which can come out whenever I want it to) .. there is an article in the latest Autosalon magazine about sub box straps ... very good reading and very helpful for when you go to the drags (or tracks days ) ... Smeags ...

Hey, how's it going, I have Alpine Type S 6x9's mounted in the back off my car, and all that had to be done was shave a SMALL portion of the metal away ... it depends what 6x9's you buy, some have small magnets, others, like the Type R's have a huge magnet and needs more cutting ... I'll put up photo's soon - well, as soon as I get my damn camera back : Smeags ...

Who the hell makes thses rear pods ? I wanta set, but of course, I need to know who makes em first ...

ok from what I've heard from people in japan the actual hks fcon is no better than the standard Apexi power fc. (its like asking the difference between and whats better a wolf or a Link - its personal preference) Only the Hks fcon v pro is meant to be heaps ahead. It runs off a map sensor (no AFM) is the really the only major difference that i know of. But then again you can always get a Apexi power fc drag pro if you really hate the afm ..... have fun finding someone to tune it though . The fcon v pro is meant to be the major preference of jap tuners .... just about all the D1 s15's run one .....

One of the above EOI, genuine with Mine's Build plate and all - will sell for $350.

Found that the Boost guage had been tapped into the Carbon canistor line (thx pimpspec) ... moved it to the Blow Off vacuum line - now reads accurately - 500mmHg, and hits .5bar boost - instead of .3bar now all I gotta do is work out why when I brake hard, it stalls

yeah 13_devil we're trying to read vacuum not boost ... thanks guys ... i must have a vaccum leak somewhere .....

Mine is about 300mmHg (From memory), but my mate's 180SX is about 1 bar ... I think I have a small problem ... can anyone tell me where theirs sit ? How much are you making at idle ?? Please help me !!!
