i have the nissan r33 manual here which was converted from japanese to english. in the service data it says "when the vehical leaves the factory, vehicials contain 7.5W-30 (SG) oil.. so im guessing anything around that be fine yeah?

ive got a 96 r33 too.. "sometimes" the speedo decides to stop working too.. i just knock on the top of dash while im driving and it pops up agian working...

yeah found the problem. too many beers and i didnt relise i put the timing belt around the other side. with the gates timing belt its got arrows. the orginal didnt have any. did the job twice but aww well i learnt something new.

hey guys. i installed a water pump today. a new Proteck one. but i get whining noises from it. like its the bearing inside the pump when i rev it slightly. any ideas how to stop the noise.?

yeah use a Gates Racing belt. good belts!! i got mine for close to 100$. the belts blue too

yeah mate those orange marks are specs of metal that have melted into ur clear coat. now its probably turned orange cause of specs rusting. most panel beaters do a thing called a Compound Wax. i think i got quoted 200 or something like that for the whole car.. but hey ring around/ask around. u might get a cheaper price. hope it helps

yeah i did.. but all i found is how to install it.. ive done that no problem.. its just the settings on the damn controller which stumps me!

Yeah found the problem br3ndan cheers buddy. i checked the intercooler piping like u said and i found that the hose connection that connects the pipe to the intercooler under the headlight wasnt covering fully and probably was leaking from there. i feel like a fool now

Checked the Cas plug.. feels firms and secure.. its the round thing in front of the engine where now the intercooler runs on top of it hey

gapped the plugs to .8.. went for a drive down the street and struggled to get back into the garage.. heaps of jerking and feeling like the car gonna stall.. damn intercooler.. grrrr Wogan where abouts is the Cas? Dukes.. ive got a stock BOV btw mods = Xforce exhaust system and pod filter...

how do i reset a stock ecu?

cheers guys for the help.. i managed to fit the intercooler my self... i have a problem but.. when i drive hitting around 2.5-3000 rmp the car chokes like ur bunny hopping and spits like (backfiring). ive only done the intercooler.. havent got no boost controller or gauge. also i heard something about spark plugs.. any ideas?

bought a Greddy Mspec FMIC kit for my r33 series 2. just asking where would u recommend taking it to get it fitted. i rang around and it would cost around 400-450 to fit it. not saying its too much im just after quality of work. thanks

i watched today tonight the other day. all about hoons in wa... i think its bullsh*t! why doesnt the media ever focus more on the way cops drive? ive seen cops (undercover) speed pass me on roads like ried hwy when i was doing the limit 90k's (sirens were off).. seen a normal cop car do a U-Turn on morley drive where there is a sign saying "No U-Turn" but 200m ahead you can perform one legally! (Sirens were off too). reading also on these forums long time ago how some guy got pulled over in his r32 gtr and got abused by a number of cops.. im thinking of fighting back and installing a camera into my car and filming all this.. because i see this on a regular basis.. thats my bitching of the day
