I was quoted around $1549 for a Stagea RB25DET NEO by SSS Automotive. Definitely a LOT cheaper as NISMO said, even if you were putting one in a RWD and modifying the RWD SUMP to fit (oil pickup issue). Unfortunately it was sold within the next day so they can go as quick too! Also read somewhere the Stagea NEO Block is stronger, more reminiscent of an RB26 block obviously with 100cc less... Not sure how true this is but definitely a bonus if true.

Neo Turbo Engine In My Na R34 Gt
N-DAWG replied to bra0063's topic in Naturally Aspirated Performance
Advice I was given by the performance auto specialist was a valve body can either improve and strengthen, or make worse and weaken an auto box. My auto was flaring quite bad, adding extra power didn't help. Third gear wasn't in a good state. A valve body upgrade would have just done it a lot worse and prematurely ended the gearbox. Get a low mileage Auto GTT Box in good nick, do the valve body upgrade, and done! If you plan to give it on the track invest in a transmission cooler and temp gauge. I haven't done so yet myself, but that's just purely down to funds. Heat kills autos, more power = more heat... you do the math. btw, I've just ordered an R34 GTT Front Cut Including Loom etc.. minus the GearBox, and sourced an Auto GTT ECU. Hopefully next week or so the mechanic will be ready to do the swap and I can shed more light on the issues that arise or may not arise... But as stated before, gearbox will definitely be your first weak link when increasing power so if you haven't rebuilt your gearbox (expensive job!) try and get a half cut including gearbox and do a valve body upgrade. Not wanting to be a thread hijacker here... but while this is on the topic of dropping a neo turbo engine into a N/A Neo: what is the difference between the wiring loom and ECU pinouts between the RB25DE NEO and RB25DET NEO? Reason being I currently have a Piggy Back eManage and would like to be able to transfer that accross to the new ECU without re-wiring the entire unit, obviously to save money. Would using an existing loom be ok, or is it going to be a case of change loom, change ECU and resplice the eManage harness on likely the same wires? That wouldn't be so bad... -
Got an R33 Series 2 Turbo that will be coming off my engine over the next 1-2 weeks as I'll have the new DET NEO Motor in.

N-DAWG replied to bigkevracer's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Hey Ryan, still for sale? Has it been tested working? -
Hi All Looking for a good condition, low mileage RB25DE NEO motor. Don't need ECU or exhaust manifold etc... as it will be replacing my current motor still with a DE+t Set Up. Delivered to Wollongong preferred, I can arrange transport if necessary. Needed urgently within 1-2 weeks. Cheers Mods: I posted this specifically in the N/A section, if it needs moving let me know

Neo Turbo Engine In My Na R34 Gt
N-DAWG replied to bra0063's topic in Naturally Aspirated Performance
GT Gearbox won't last long with increased power. Any little-to-mild flaring issues will become much more noticable very quickly. I ended up going down the rebuild path with my gearbox in the end with HD Kevlar Clutchpacks, HD Bands, new solenoid set, and valve body upgrade. Handles it like a dream since. BUT that cost $3300 and if I did it again I'd get a low-mileage R34 GTT Box and valve body it. -
7 - it runs directly into the box

Hi Stu
I was just wanting to know where you are working as I need to bring the R34 in for a bit of work.
I've got the car rego'd in NSW now.
Last I contacted the workshop in Montague St they said you weren't there anymore.
Basically my issue at the moment is another mis-fire problem. I've checked the eManage harness and it's got voltag...

Sorry to bump an old thread... was just wondering if you could explain how you wired up the pump in this kit to the factory OEM wiring. I received mine late last week. The kit has a +/- Wire system, but Nissan Plugs iirc on the R34 have Three Wires. Did you just simply connect the single pump on the washer bug to the two sets of OEM wires in Parallel on just the + and - wires? Thanks in advance Nathan Edit: Just realised this post was originally in a WTB thread.. mods let me know if I need to start a new topic elsewhere. Cheers

Converting R34 Gt From Auto To Manual?
N-DAWG replied to mitch92's topic in Naturally Aspirated Performance
shift kit! 7,000RPM quick shifts with chirpies! That's on a fully rebuilt box though which set me back around $3300 with HD Kevlar internals and new set of solenoids...but the difference it made! There's no denying the gains to be had between a rebuilt auto and a manual due to the nature of the two transmissions, but I like having the tiptronic for daily driving. -

No Takers? $180 is VERY cheap considering the retail value or even what was spent... brand new! just worn packaging. Hasn't even been taken out of the plastic -

Hi All As listed previously time n time before: Kicker ZX400.1 Monoblock Class D Amp. Bought a long time ago at a discounted price of $300 at Gold Coast JB HiFi, never installed as I CBF upgrading my wiring and now can't afford to be spending more money again so it's for sale...still... Pics: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=attach§ion=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=311012 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=attach§ion=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=311013 This one comes with a remote sub level dial that you can mount under the dash. Chasing $180 ONO for it. No stupidly low offers please...I won't be selling it for $20. I'm also after a good/reasonable condition GT or GTT OEM Front Bar, as long as it's factory Silver and bolts straight on. So if you're in Wollongong Area and have a Silver R34 Front Bar that you want to trade I'll happily make that deal. Replies by PM please. Thanks -
Seen that already in QLD on the Pacific Motorway they'll hide between open spaces in bushes/trees separating the two directions of the motorway. They park nose in towards the road at night. If you're smart enough you spot them from far, but this gives them advantage to quickly close in even if the speeding driver hasn't noticed. HWP also hide out behind bushes on the long down stretch coming from Mt Cootha Lookout heading back towards the city catching spirited drivers. Won't be long NSW will start following suit I reckon.
