  1. i agree with you on the response of -5 they are definately a better performer , but ive been in a mates -5 powered gtr with around 390kw@wheels and it didnt feel as quick , it definately was quicker but with the more linear power curve was a bit expected similar to a ls2 with an edit , pretty quick but not very fun ,, but thats just my 2cents on the topic!! yeah the autogallery box is great , first gear is heaps long for the launch and then the rest seem to be fairly close.. definately much more responsive than the standard ratios , autogallery also released one gearbox which was a os giken 1-5 set ,, but the one ive got is their own custom 1-5 set with tripple cone syncros and a os giken hd input shaft,, and just for the record every post ive seen you write has generally been negative , be happy man lifes good!! lol
  2. i didnt start this thread to start arguments just thought id put my personal opinion on the turbos.. sure a set of -7s would be way quicker around corners but i still manage to put the power down just keep it in a lower gear around the corner , and as for slow on the street i got a autogallery yokohama close ratio gearbox in it so 1st gear pulls hard to around 90km and second takes it way past 130km on full boost which is all i need ,, but at the end of the day everyone is gonna have their own opinions and im definately gonna get smoked by a hyundai excell if i flatten it in 4th gear at 60km lol!!!
  3. just thought i would do a writeup on my trust t517z ""10cm" turbos on my built r33 gtr.. aka( td05 16g with ev03 front housings) gotta say these turbos are awesome , power delivery is almost the same feeling as a large single , its nothing ... nothing ... nothing and then bang!! fairly laggy on my bored 0.40# over rb26 , boost start develloping at around 4,500 at the earliest , this is on the road real life driving not being ramped up on a dyno!! full boost by 5500 and all the way to redline and beyond... with my hks step 2 cams mechanic said power would keep climbing past 9.000 but rev limiter set at 8 power wise these things are gold , i made 290rwkw on only 10psi!!! and when i retune for full boost of 20-22psi expecting around 380-400kw!! even at 290kw the car feels really quick off the line , and snaps your neck when boost kicks in in my opinion these turbos are great and recommend them to anyone who is interested!! wouldnt bother with the 8cm ones tho go straight to the big guns!!
  4. what do you want , engine turbos computer? are you modifieng the 260z mounts? do you need a complete conversion kit?
  5. also for sale , 3inch exhaust off r33 gtr , welds are terrible to be honest but was working well , has 250cfm cat that was used 3-4 times , and resignator , pretty loud , only good aprt about it really are the hks drag rear twin tips so ill sell them for 100$ and throw the rest of the exhaust in for free!! its currently cut in half also lol!!

  7. it puffs a bit of smoke at startup also , but goes away after a minute or so , and yes under decelleration the exact way you just described ,what are valve stem seals worth?
  8. hey guys need some technical advice , my car is puffing a bit of smoke on decceleration looks a greyish colour ,, my mechanic (i wont say who so their is no bias opinions) said it may be a valve stem seal? or turbo seals , does this sound right, or is he taking me for a ride? also is valve stem seals a big job? whats involved cheers

  10. power goal is to push over 400kw so around 430 , with the same turbo setup ect , just with adding e85 , engine is 26 bored out .040
  11. currently running a single 044 pump , which is probably on its limits , running around 400kw atw with 1000cc injectors on standard rail with aftermarket fpr , which may be incresed pressure but not sure? and as for single intank was looking into the pierberg 320L jobbie , is 320L enough to flow e85?
  12. been searching around and found nothing on the topic , any cheaper twin intank setups for gtr than powertune? 1400$ for 2 crappy walbro pumps is very exessive? anyone made their own or selling any setups ? let me know!!
  13. sard 600cc drop in injectors , standard rail standard plugs , 450$ cheap!!!! s3 r33 gtr gearbox with stronger syncros than s1/s2 , full of redline shockproof 40,000kmz $750!!!! pick up redwood park sa , or postage , postage at buyers expense!!

  15. the blitz /denso 1000cc fit onto 10.5mm standard rail but have a different plug which will need to be changed over cheers
  16. denso injectors are resold as "blitz" and are sold on jsut jap for 1800$ for these identicle injectors , top feed low impedance 1000cc , so save yourself mega cash!!!!!
  17. also got a series 3 r33 gtr gearbox (stronger syncros) has had redline oil in it ,, no issues at all upgraded to crossmission gearset , will let it go for $850 firm need the money for my car!!!

  19. 600cc injectors looking for 550$ direct bolt on upgrade!! 10.5mm found out today the 1000cc injectors are low resistance so not suitable for power fc , due to idle issues?? so would be good for e85 tune or standalone ecu.... dont want someone else getting stung like i did ,, will let them go for 450$ firm!!
  20. fs 2 sets of rb26 gtr injectors to suit 10.5 standard rails one set is 600cc sard x 6 were making over 350kw@wheels one set is sard/denso 1000cc also suit 10.5mm rail , selling smaller set because too small , and larger set will aparently be too big for my power , suited to big power or e85... cheers

  25. the gearbox i am selling is standard ** i have upgraded to a close ratio cross mission gearbox** incase there was any confusion cheers
