i think hicas is great, though many others may disagree an have locked it off an what not but in my personal opinion i love it its great for corner turning at higher speeds an it hasn't affected me for drifting wise, but yea i think its good... just my 2 cents

any 1 know of body kit shops such as import central these guys are shutting shop an dont have the stock i need so... le'sigh... anyways im after new bonnet gaurds lights grill front bumper etc any 1 knoe of custom shops or wat not that may particularly sell these.... even if its over east an i need 2 ship it back here... any help is appreciated, thnx.... mind u its for a s1 r33 to which ill be doing a conversion to s2 however i might as well go for the after market s2 stuff anyways so im really after a s2 reo bar but yea anyways diff story... any help is appreciated.

The 33gt-st is actually lighter an does weigh roughly 1370 odd whilst the 34 gt-t weighs roughly 1410 or around those figures 33's may look heavy but they're just PHAT with a PH (especially the GTR33) =P an the spoiler looking like a whale (400R) spoiler doesn't help either lol. did u know despite the look an au falcon weighs almost 1800 kg an yet a skylines doors (R33 gt-st) are just so damn heavy but is actually lighter :S? yea its deceptive... lol, i think it helps with the distribution of the weight of the car, lower centre of gravity etc... helps for corners i dunno but thats my theory lol ^^

lol yea i always park near a curb or pole and give as much space as possible for the other person to park cause lets face it ppl just cant park, and i despise parking at shopping centres, but yea... i live like 10 min from the galleria never really had any parking issue's... where do you park an yea bl on that as well all the best with that...ive seen a fair few cars with windows smashed in on the car park near myer facing the morely medical centre... maybe park in the undercovered area or directly infront of food shops (that are open) so other people have a direct view of your car so its less prone to a break in where as compared to being parked in the corner of a parking lot under a lamp... top of the galleria car park is a good spot as well or derectly in front of fast eddies and that chicken treat place however in saying that dont park 100 meteres away from general public sight as its more prone to someone breaking in at night or even during the day...when at the movies an such or eating at festies or going to that pub... just my tips on where to park thats all hahaha =P personally havnt had it and *touch wood* wont happen but ive seen it happen to a few ppl and it's a real shin kicker... good luck with that though

might as well throw in my opinion as well, my R33 s1 is 15 years old (1994) now and havnt had any major or minor mechanical problems... however has only done 102,000k's ive had it for a year now an done a fair few drags and drifts, only a minor service's at the moment due to get a major 100,000 service so itl be in the upcoming week or so. its been mechanically sound however in saying that the only mod ive done is 3"cat back exhaust. i got it from a dealer and was tempted with a 3 year warranty so im perrty happy ^.^ but otherwise pretty much stock and from my point of view pretty reliable for a pretty old car and its in great nick, practically immac some things do go though ive experianced the actuator inside the air conditioning unit playing up, havn't bothered to fix it yet, will do soon but its no cause for concern, just annoying to hear a click click when u first start the car. im pretty heavy on the pedal i only get 400k's to a tank mind you its a rb25det. though when i do drive normally i can get anywhere from 400-500 to a tank 500k's if im driving really easy.... but thats pretty rare hahaha... i generally go on cruises least once a month and have at least a drag with someone at least every 1-2 weeks so you can get a rough idea how i drive my car i dont thrash the living bajeebus out of it though but i do put the car to good use... make it do what its made to do ^.^ a good car and can take a fair bit of punishment from my point of view then again i dont red line it, most times when its dragged rpm is at 6rpm i wont go higher, otherwise normal driving its at 2.5rpm i dont know about the other ppl here but for me my car has been great and in my opinion exceptionally reliable compared to other cars out there, especially for its year.

hey pplz, i was lookin at the s2 R33's the other day an i was thinkin to myself they look alot more "sharper" anwhat not compared to the s1 R33, so i have been thinkin i want to do a lil "face" lifting here. what i want to do is get the s2 lights and bonnet as well as the grill from the s2 R33 and put it onto my s1 R33 now im pretty sure this is possible however is this all? or do you also need to replace the fender/gaurds watchama call it thingymajigs...? and by doing this itl have a better stance or look for the front as well as getting some aftermarket bumper but yea diff story. im probably gonna be lookin at a fair bit arnt i?

ok well thnx for ur advice, guess ill do this 4 now an then fix the syncro's when they actually need it... its very faint and only one gear at ridiculas speeds so its not a real issue i just tend to wanna know what i need to know before things get worse.

ok so... is it worth to Turbo Surge the Rb25dett... have a mate with an s15 thats done it an has had it 4 ages an hasnt faced any problems... my mate with an R34 so far hasnt faced any problems but then again a lil early to say... so basically... To Turbo Surge or not to Turbo Surge That is the Question well... hmmm does it do any damage? all ive found out so far is that it makes a "flutter" sound. ummm uses lil more fuel cause it reads the air that comes back in and... possibilities of popping due to running rich... so anything else? i.e. turbo going "BOOM"? because it spins one way an then when u let off the throttle it goes the other... otherwise thats all i know any "bad" results from doing such a thing? mmmm lets discuss. ^.^

hhahahaha i drive fast all the time an this is the 1st time its happened an that's why im asking these questions cause its never happened b4 hahaha yea dont think theres fresh oil in the gearbox... but umm say if it blows... now i highly doubt that... "Touch wood" how much would it cost to replace or repair or get a good working gearbox in or would i be better off upgrading while im at it... i am looking at modding the car since i have a grand to go to paying it off... and well its time to go nuts... ive had the car for a year its a 95 model an ummm mmm yea.... ive heard that its common for R33's gearbox's sync's to go a bit funny... any rough ideas on costs? once again guys thnx for all the info u share appreciating it ^.^

hey guys sup! just needed some advice / help i get a faint "grind" when changing into 4th gear only during 6-7rpm however when i change below that its fine and normal and theres no issue's, changing to any other gear at high rom's there isnt an issue and its all good except for 4th gear i would explain it as a "faint" grind as if some one didnt change gears properly and didnt put the clutch down but not as bad... yes i even made sure the clutch was fully down before going up in gear from 3rd to 4th gear and it still happened at those high rpm's otherwise anylower rpm below 6 is fine so basically is my gear ratio's out or is it my clutch...(doubt it but a possiblity) and if you do know what the problem is... whats the cost and who is it best to go to to get it done i live north side of the river. ( bahahahahaha awww shit i hope its not expensive but when it comes to gear box's ... ='( .... ) anyways any help is appreciated, and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
