yea good point. and the frieght cost i got qouted on was R.OR.O, cost was 1100 from japan to fremantle. but yea thnx for your input. and as for what i mentioned earlier flying to japan round trip (there and back) was $847, thinking of if i did import i would want to go there an check it all out sorta thing but yea thats another story . but yea anyone know how many hoops one would have to troll through to get it all complianced? or a guestimation?

true, cheers for your opinion, dont know much for compliance costs an what not an thats why im asking as for shipping im only going off the freight costs of what i was quoted to get the car to freo from japan.

so i was looking at the costs of Gtr's in japan( they vary some gtr average cost of 32 gtr is around 4or so g's an so on so forth...), the cost to go to japan n back (roughly a grand) and the cost to ship it to australia - here in perth ( roughly a grand as well) but in the end the total costs are far less than what we would pay at the dealership, i dare say you could get a gtr 33 in Australia in under 10 grand..... where the dealerships here in australia are selling them for 30k+.... makes you wounder... and so the question comes down to is... how many hoops would one have to jump through to have it all taken over the pits and approved. like, what do i have to do to get it road registered?

i found some grey plug next to the areil an i pulled it out an then my car wouldnt idle properly an kept stalling an when i put the plug back in it went back to normal... good thing i didnt screw around with it ^.-.... so ummm yea.... i do neeed some very specific instructions on how to get the succer out... the ariel that is.... yea, i was gonna continue if others were but it seemed every 1 bailed so i just headed home, i got lucky an went under the radar when they inspected my car but a fair few others got hit hard. otherwise yea it was a good night but after that i think every1 went "ahhh screw this" an bailed.

went to cruise was great until we all hit a slight snag... whoever decided the truck stop as a meet point was a good idea >.< lol .... cops rocked up an did a full inspection on all the cars and got every 1 to line up. yummo... somehow i managed to pass with bold rear's >.<

cheers guys for the advise, its pretty stock, only mod is cat back, and errr.... it idles just fine, but odly enough the fuel meter sat at half way till it hit 200k's anyways, which is normal for my car dunno about others... so i may just be immagining things ><" but yea ill still go for a full service an diagnostics an tune thingy... ^^ its just hit 106thou k's so its due for one of those major service's so guess ill be needing to do that ^^

so what kinds of oil is good, type of filter and viscosity for the R33 (rb25)?

hey guys just need some hinter's or somethin, ive noticed till just recently in the last few days that the car has eaten almost half a tank and ive only gotten 150k's out of her rather then the usual 200 odd k's any idea's? and yes ive tried to drive as economic as i can but even when ive put my foot down, i still use to get good mileage out of the tank so im just woundering what it could be it is due for a service soon so im just hoping that its just that and only that. that the oil is dirty or something.

yo im having a simular issue, i just had a small prang the other day an i start the engine up to keep the oil from going stagnant... bout to get it fixed but im worried it may have hurt the engine although the damage was to the gaurd it didnt touch the engine bay but i dunno.. anyways... point is when my revs go up say 2grand i hear a knocking sound not the ur tipical injectors firing sorta sound but more like a rubbing sound or something more or less... once it goes idle sound goes away, also the fan got pushed back a nudge due to the impact... an literally a nudge an sounds like the sound is coming from the fan / front end of the engine area... so might be the fan itself no idea ill be taking it to get a full service an check up an what not as well as getting the gaurd fixed but yea just thought if any 1 has any ideas?
