  1. hey all,

i recently purchased the alternator, power steering and air conditioning belts to change. now the p.s. and a.c. are both normal ones from repco while the alternator one is a blue 'racing' gates one (its the only i could find in stock on sunday,). now i am wondering are these worse off than normal ones in any way? eg. make more noise etc? i don't want to put it on as i have a pretty stock engine and i dont think there is a need to compromise on anything for the extra 'performance'

    any help would be appreciated

  2. Hey I was rear ended the other night and I will need a new bumper and exhasut muffler. Now I currently have a kakimato muffler on there that sounds fantastic and I would like to keep that sound. I was wondering does anyone know what model number this muffler might be and where can I get brand new kakimato exhausts from? I need this information as I doubt the panel beaters will be bothered to find the same one.

  3. my r33 takes around 12L/100km driving normally which is pretty good. you can also pick one up for really cheap as theres just so many of them for sale. the fact that its newer then the s13 and r32 also give you something to consider. plus the rb25 is just a damm good engine that would probably outlast the sr20 and the rb20

  4. that sounds pretty good. however, that would be a pretty tiring drive. maybe split it as either a city cruise or just a drive through the twisties. this way you would get more numbers.

ae86dc had a similar cruise not long ago where they had a meet up and then drove into healesville (spelling?) and had a bbq. then all the people that wanted to go for a drive went in that direction torwards mt baw baw while anyone that wasn't up for it left

a lot shorter and that way you can enjoy the drive more

  5. lol maybe just get some buckets of water and go to bunnings car park ;)

but seriously maybe a driver's training day would be better as i think they put you through wet braking and cornering depending on which one you choose
