  1. hey all, i recently purchased the alternator, power steering and air conditioning belts to change. now the p.s. and a.c. are both normal ones from repco while the alternator one is a blue 'racing' gates one (its the only i could find in stock on sunday,). now i am wondering are these worse off than normal ones in any way? eg. make more noise etc? i don't want to put it on as i have a pretty stock engine and i dont think there is a need to compromise on anything for the extra 'performance' any help would be appreciated
  2. Go to an a place that does engineer's certificates and ask them as most answers of the forum are not backed by law It probably depends on what type of assessor you get and what mood he is in
  3. 7,500 is a bit much considering you can get something like a 2000 model corolla with 85,000km for around 8,500. however, if the car is immaculate than it could be worth around 6,500-7,000
  4. yeah that looks ultra tough. congratulations on the purchase
  5. thanks for the info. did you get the titanium look on the muffler?
  6. Hey I was rear ended the other night and I will need a new bumper and exhasut muffler. Now I currently have a kakimato muffler on there that sounds fantastic and I would like to keep that sound. I was wondering does anyone know what model number this muffler might be and where can I get brand new kakimato exhausts from? I need this information as I doubt the panel beaters will be bothered to find the same one.
  7. i guess all forums are the same after all...these types of threads are so sad. person asks a legitimate question and you get an army of keyboard warriors responding
  8. already booked in 2 spots! should be a fun day. the spots filled up pretty damm quick
  9. any updates on when these are going to happen?
  10. yay its all done! thanks for the replies. had a bit of a battle putting the clip back in but besides that i would definetly recommend doing it this way rather than the filler plug.
  11. hey i decided to change the gearbox oil through the shifter after reading about it through the old threads. i have taken everything off but now i am stuck. where exactly do i fill it up from here? or do i need to take the shifter out? if so how do i do that?
  12. my r33 takes around 12L/100km driving normally which is pretty good. you can also pick one up for really cheap as theres just so many of them for sale. the fact that its newer then the s13 and r32 also give you something to consider. plus the rb25 is just a damm good engine that would probably outlast the sr20 and the rb20
  13. definetly down for this. email sent
