  3. Hi Everyone We need to find 4 hard workers to help us with our Stunt Driving School at Adelaide Raceway this coming Sunday 19th Feb. The people we are looking for must be hardworking and MUST BE RELIABLE. The job involves changing wheels, helping with keeping the roads wet and helping with set-up and pack-up. Make no mistake this is hard work, and there is some lifting involved. We pay $200 for the day, we would prefer that you have an ABN. We run these events in Adelaide about 6 times per year. Please dont waste our time or your own by replying here, if you are serious please contact Bec (SAU member) in our office by phone 1300 652 693 or email her [email protected] Kind regards Kev
  4. The old long circuit was built in 1984. The infield section was almost exactly 1km long, I spent lots of time on that circuit doing driver training and formula ford courses there. I have attached a couple of pics from our Formula Ford courses in 1993 and 1992 ! (Take note of how high Cam McConvilles pants are) We used to run the formula ford course on the infield circuit heading up the back straight in the wrong direction and turning right into the infield circuit. The circuit was changed in 2002 when they extended the horse racing track. Also note in the second pic the original location of the bridge, the bridge was moved further down the back straight in 2002, that same bridge was hit by a truck and destroyed this week.
  5. Hi Guys We have a few vacancies for our next skidpan training day on Saturday 17th April. Our skidpan training courses are conducted at the Attwood training complex near Melbourne Airport. The skidpan is wet and super slippery, to keep wear and tear to a minimum and to facilitate low speed skids. (This is not the course for you if you are a full-on hektik drift god) Its a great opportunity to explore your cars limits in a safe and controlled environment. We have an experienced instructor working with you on these courses. Each session runs for 4 hours with 6 drivers per session. We run a morning and afternoon session. Cost per driver is $140 Please contact Tessa to book your position 1300 652 693 or email her [email protected] You can learn more about our skidpan courses here.. http://driverdynamics.com/skidpan.html Kind regards Kev

  12. every time i see one of those things it reminds me of my time working on the race version easily the WORST and most frustrating racing car I ever worked on I remember the Lamborghini personel having a discussion in Italian "how did those dumb Aussies manage to get that shitheap on the front row of the grid !" We out qualified all the gun Lambo teams from overseas. funny how the 'team' has moved on a little since 1998..
  13. No need to have done any other course to participate in this one.
  14. L Platers are OK, but must have a fully licensed driver in the car with them.
  15. Super Special Discounted Advanced Car Control Course Saturday 16th January 2010 Driver Dynamics will be hosting a specially discounted Advanced Car Control Course at Sandown Raceway Melbourne on Saturday 16th January 2010 We offer these specially discounted courses once per year at Sandown Raceway. This course is suited to all drivers and is focused on raising the drivers awareness of vehicle dynamics, advanced vehicle control skills, and how even small increases in speed can dramatically affect the degree of vehicle control difficulty. The format is very much ‘hands on’, with the emphasis on practical driving exercises, including highway speed emergency braking, wet corner emergency braking, emergency lane changing, multiple direction changes, understeer and oversteer exercises, and vehicle stability exercises on our unique ‘split surface’ system. This is a full day course starting at 8.30am and concluding at 4.00pm. Note that this is not a trackday, there is no circuit lapping. You dont need a helmet or any special modifications to your car. Normally drivers would expect to pay up to $300.00 or more to attend such a program, but we’re offering this date for only $195.00 per driver. Note that this price also includes lunch and soft drinks. These courses fill very fast, so if you’d like to attend please call Tessa on 1300 652 693 Or email [email protected] Kind regards Kev
