  1. GTRS is on my wish list.. when my turbo is dead So are they bolt on ? as in dump and turbo flange ? or do i need v-clamp dump , and so on... With stock internals, 14psi is realisitc ?
  2. thanks guys ! So was wondering, how much does air compensation and all that, effect the dyno readout ? Lots ppl gettin 200@wheels wif same mods and boost. Hot day could prob effect 5kw or so, but still missing 15kw. Does the air compensation factors, change the readout alot ?
  3. What brand tyres ???
  4. Heya all, Finally got my car back on the dyno - This time with more mods and no more LEAN out !!! woot woot !!! For all that dont know or dont remember. The last time i had my car on the dyno , was to check my knocking figures i received on my safc... It was NASTY !!! Even though the car made 180ish kw@wheels . The car a/f was at a 13.0:1 !!! Mods were: - Greddy Front Mount - Catback Exhaust - Pod filter - Stock Boost So since then i have done the following mods - 3" Dump - 3" Hi-Flo Cat - CAI - SAFC2 - Walbro Fuel pump - Turbosmart bleed - 10psi Got it back on the dyno and got 160.9kw @wheels. Pretty much wat i was expecting for my bolt on mods. With a little fiddle with the SAFC2. I Gained 20kw @wheelsat topend. Mid range was improved to. Was happy with the results, with only 30mins of tuning. Plus it was a HOT day and the dyno wasnt adjusted for air compensation ect ect. Just raw power figure. Top end a/f = 12.1 I know a/f curve bit funky. But best i could do with the time i had the dyno. Has anyone got a dyno graph of there a/f with safc so can compare? And also does my dyno look right ? So im guessing its at 190-200kw @wheels - On a diff dyno , on a good day. Gettin a Profec B and boosting to 12psi hoping i'll pass the 200kw @wheels mark. Thanks all for the help and input in fixing my lean out probs!!!
  5. Hey guys, Fitted my Walbro fuel pump today, and it was a piece of piss... very easily done. Still yet to get it back on the dyno to see if this fixed my lean issue.. cant wait, as gettin my SAFC tuned at same time. CnJ boyz are doing it. Well just a quick question bout the direct grounding. What i did was cut the grey whitish wire and ground it direct to the rear boot battery grounding point. Is that ok ? and safe ? will my fuel pump die or anything ? It noticebly louder wen its priming before starting the engine. and the Votage jumped from 9-10v to 14v. But just askin is it safe for the pump, lots of ppl say it is and some say it aint. Can some one clear this up for meeh.
  6. thanks buddy... got it booked in a CNJ ! on 3rh of April. Will let you know how it went. Just put my Walbro pump in today too..
  7. thanks for the advice... will keep that in mind...

  10. Heyaa all, Im gettin my SAFC II Tune really soon, and read soo much bout a/fuel ratio, lots of people giving me all sorts of figures from 11.5:1 - 12.5:1. So pretty simple question, I want my car to be on a safe tune, so if i were to go out on a cold nite and it lean out a little, it'll still be safe. ( I go out at night heaps ) Mods are as followed: R33 S1.5 Stock Turbo @ 10psi ( no boost controller ) 3" Turboback with no resonators Pod with shield ( no cai ) Greddy Front mount SAFC II Walbro Fuel pump So from what i gathered from the forums is this wat the a/fuel ratio should be: Full Throttle - Below 4500rpm - 12.5:1 After 4500rpm - 12:1 Lo Throttle - 14.5:1 With these a/f and my mods you guys recon i will make 190-200rwkw ? Reliablely ??? I never seen partial throttle been tuned on a dyno before ? I only seen WOT power runs, So how do they do it ? Just wanted to know for knownledge sakes. Any help and advice would be really greatful !
  11. car point ?? i been using carsale.com.au ... I been searching and searching.. and omg there sooo stuffed up ! It makes my R33 look like a show car lolz

  14. But is it required to mod the wiring for my mods i have ? SAFC II ( will be tuned after pump installed ) Catback 3" ( dump pipe / cat will also be install before tune ) front mount 10psi Pod Aiming at 190-200rwkw Will the stock voltage be adequate ? I dont wanna overrun my pump and shorten the life.
  15. Is there any side effects if i do this ? So all i do is ground it straight to the chassis or watever
  16. are you sure 8.5bar ? lolz.. 1 bar =15psi , so 8.5bar is ALOT !!!! If you were running 8.5bar your turbo be gone pretty much in 2 secs flat... and denn your motor
  17. Tru that.. Wonder why he didnt check it... Im prob going get one of those Walbro from Slide Im only planning to run stock turbo, 10psi and safc.. So the Walbro should be fine... Has anyone else ever had this problem ? i see other ppls charts running lean but its a progressive line from rich to lean... Mine just JUMPS at 5500rpm.. why ?
  18. Yeh i think its prob the fuel pump to, so if i check my fuel pressure , i'll be 100% sure ? where can i get this done ? or do i have to buy my own gauge ?
  19. Heya all, For last week or so, i been gettin knock readings on my SAFC as high as 40-60... I ignore it figuring its only engine noise or something in drivetrain rocking as it would only get those figures once in a while. This morning it knock to 72 and 90 !!! I was Freak out and didnt want to hurt my engine no more, this figures were hitting at approx 5500-6000rpm and i backed off. So i book it in straight away to get a power run and air/fuel figures. My car is following: S1.5 R33 Skyline Boost 10psi Greddy Front Mount 3" Catback exhaust SAFCII (untuned) Copper plugs at 0.8mm gap Pod filter and Shield Had around 5 runs on the dyno : First run was 220wHp @ 5000rpm - Tuner didnt want to push it as he heard knock in his knock ear phones things 2nd run was 218wHP @ 5200rpm - He tried to give it more fuel via the SAFCII i had ..+10% settings from 5500rp, onwards ( it was untune and stock settings ) 3rd run was 210wHP @ 5000rpm - It didnt make much difference.. still ping and running crazy lean figures He did One last run - And MY god was it Lean, i was holding onto my balls, like dont BLOW this f$#ker!!! It pulled 247.4whp (180wkw) @ 6550rpm But with lean ratio of 13.0:1 !!!! I dont know wats wrong with my car, i thought it was Rich and Retard.. BUT Obviously it not RUNNING Rich! I think its the Fuel pump, and suggetions ??? Any info would be helpful guys!!!
  20. just use the rubber gromets.. Unless your car going to be a show car or something, its fine... AND alot cheaper than weld and paint. Also you cant see it from behind neway, unless the person behind you in a truck or some shit
