As RipNGrip sed.. and exactly wat i've done. Maintenance FIRST!!! Get it running the way it should, check all gaskets, do timing belt ( NO MATTER WAT LAST OWNER TELLS YOU ) , waterpump, service, oils thru out, etc... Than start playing. FUEL PUMP is a must, as the stock ones are getting old, some survive, but nothing beats piece of mind and a living motor. All the bolt on's are pretty much pointless until you get some sort of ECu or Piggy back. As the STOCK ECU loves to F@#Kin play stoopid games with timing. You get the most out of your car once you do this, SAFC is the cheapest and most easy done option, what i've done $220 for 2nd hand unit and $250 for at tune. Nothing beats $500 for 30rwkw !!! If you got the money denn go all out. Next mod for me is Some decent Coils. Just also for peace of mind. and to make sure it never misfires

Have a look at my post bro Pretty much do what i've done and you get 190-200kw@wheels , REAL figures, not HAPPY dyno figures. Plus i havent really spent that much money either, it turns, goes and stops. Anymore than this you lookin at bigger turbo, bigger injecotrs, full aftermarket ecu's, etc etc etc ... What i've done to my car is pretty much the limit before spending a fortune. But im quite happy with it as a daily, its plenty quik for the street. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Wo...fc-t232836.html

Heya all guys, Just wanted to post my results of my latest dyno run and tune. Since last time, i had all sorts of problems with my car. Manifold studds snapping, exhaust leaks, vacumn probs, etc etc. So i decided to take my car off the road and do it right once and for all. Car was pretty much given and top to bottom major service using all genuine nissan stuff, nothing beats OEM ! - Timing belt including bearings etc - All new accessory belts ( pwr steer, aircon, etc.. ) - New waterpump - New rocker cover seals ( Woot woot, no more leaks ! ) - New Turbo manifold gasket - New Turbo flange gasket - New Dump pipe gasket - All manifold studds drilled out and replace - Pwr steer flush / Brake fluid flush / engine flush - Injectors cleaned - Apexi Power intake pod - And your usual serivice items with motul oils and royal purple gearbox oils Car is nowww super dooper silky smooth, boost hard and holds all way to redline. Made such a difference that my old SAFC tune was way out causing the car to knock and what not.. So had to get my car re-tuned. I heard good things bout VONNY from DYNO TUNZ in brisbane browns plains. So i got him to do his magic. And im very please with the results With only 10psi it made 183kw@ wheels, with that peak beginning around 5000rpm !!! Also this last figure was after like 20 or so runson the dyno so prob after a good cool down be around the 190kw @wheels mark. Car feels awesome... Compare to my last tune with peak power only being avaliable from 6300-7000rpm. I gained MORE power every , from top to bottom over my last tune. Its my daily so 10psi will just have to do now, until i get bored again. Please leave your feedback guys and tell me what you guys think. R33 GTSt Series 1.5 - Stock Turbo - Greddy Intercooler kit - Full exhaust inc hi flow 3" cat and dump - Walbro Fuel pump - Turbosmart Boost controller @10psi - Apexi SAFC2 - Apexi Power intake pod Note: Bottom line is with STOCK boost and STOCK tune

Ecu Been Fiddled With, But Where?
lilhaulerz replied to MBS206's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Betcha 10 bucks... if you change your fuel pump.. it'll fix your problems. The car is running lean cuz tired fuel pump. Check my old post. i had exact same dipp before, denn change my fuel pump it fixed it. what your car is doing is running rich n retard, when the AFM senses two much flow and ECU goes stoopid. But because your fuel pump is tired, it not able to richen up the mixtures. Before wen i had some prob as you. Look familiar http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/4482/imgzu7.jpg After new fuel pump - Pink line and Tune- Other line http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/4482/imgzu7.jpg since denn have made 205kw@wheels same setup... -

Decided what im going to do now... $1550... for a High Flow Rb25 turbo Using a VL Turbo bush bearing Hi-flow core... Steel wheels..good for 400-450hp At 12-15psi should be good for 230-240kw@wheels MTQ Salibury is building it for meeh... Hope all goes well, will take pics of before and after.. so you guys can see the wheel difference

wanna swap anything for the airbad steering wheel ?
-
All gaskets have been check, thanks for your input buddy, actually thanks for everyones input.... Its definately turbo, had couple good mates that work for reputable performance workshops ... They both sed without taking the dump off... 99.9% a fin or two has come off the rear wheel, but not totally gone, hence still making boost but not as much power and they also said the movement in the shaft play is causing the grinding whirling sound. To check for sure... we took the cat off , easier than taking the dump off and look what we have here bit of ceramic wheel, not whole fins, but bits and pieces of ceramic and residue and dust.. So guess time to save for a TURBO !!!! Pick up a blown rb25 series 1 turbo today and taking it to get highflow @ MTQ... Anyone have idea how much im in for ? and what specs and what do i tell them to do ??? i have no idea..
