6x9's in the rear are a pain in the backside. you need to use spacers and that leaves about 1mm between the speakers and the glass. not worth the effort. go the splits.

lost it round a corner drivin home from work. the back end hit a tree and i ended up in a garden. beware of pedestrian crossings the white lines are very slippery

basically the car has been crashed. needs panelwork, on front right quarter, both rear quarters, boot, bonnet, needs new front and rear bars, roof and front left are perfect. needs 1 new headlight and 1 new rear light cluster. could fix or just use for parts. running gear is perfect. needs tyres + maybe new radiator or just a hose. havnt got under it to look yet. the car is completely standard even exhaust. gtr rear wheels colour matched gtst fronts. turbo timer, k&n air filter. RB20DET only done 72,000 k's 1st owner in australia. has done 20,000 k's in the country. $6000

got the rubber. i think the shocks are still the standard factory issue.

ashtrays are clean. windscreen vents are perfect.

i lost it around a corner (came on boost as i hit the pedestrian crossing) The cops are doin me for street racing (go figure a single car accident around a corner) just coz i drive a 'line and im only 20 the officer on the scene reconed i was doin 140k's i laughed at him. i was doin about 50k's if i was doin 140 id be dead wrapped around the traffic lights.

i managed getting airborne today. off a gutter cleared the footpath completely and now the retirement village has a big white garden ornament.

im on the sunshine coast. i drove a skyline until today. theres no grip on pedestrian crossings. just look at my avitar for the results.

Just pulled mine apart last night. everything looks fine so maybe mine is a prob with the wiring. will take it to an auto elec after ive payed rego. will let y'all know what the problem is so maybe can save the rest of you some money if you ever have the same prob. just hope it dont cost too much.

i just put 6x9's in my r32 a few days ago. i had to put the speakers in riser. boxes and also had to cut out the parcel tray so the risers could sit straight on the metal as the speakers were hitting the glass. its a tight squeeze but they fit. and they sound great

my screen used to garble and drop out on the odd occasion but i think the whole lot shorted out. i turned the ac off and while the screen turned off what actually happened was the fan set itself to demist and i could not stop it. the next day when i turned the car on it set itself to demist again. what the??? after a couple of days it seemed to fix itself. i drove to work with the ac on - no problem. i turned the ac off before turning off the car - no problem. when i got back in the car 6 hours later the whole cabin smelt like burnt plastic. ive since pulled the fuse for the ac and the smell is gone but ive had no ac for a few weeks now. ive had a brief look behind the ac unit and all the wiring looks fine - no melted insulation. will try pulling the control unit apart and see if theres any burns in there. if there is how much would i expect to pay for a replacement? apparently the r33 unit is the same as the r32 unit. if this is true i will buy a 33 unit as its newer.

dont get a fast car as your first coz on your p plates you only got 4 points to last a bloody long time. and they dont. ive been on 1 point for a long long time

i got a skyline as my first car. its where all my money goes. i cant go out or anything ive had it for 7 months and its cost me about $6000 just to repair broken stuff. so i agree. tho im learnin the hard way. and the lack of driving experience causes bad bad things when you get sideways. try a few parked cars on for size. not that i was trying to drift but if i had experience i would have been able to avoid said parked car
