This is the problem, I don't want to go the extra for an R34 because for that money I'd prefer an FD3S, which leaves me with a late model R33. A Skyline at that...Tourquenstein, seriously, if you want a Nissan, go for an NA 1.8 Silvia for the 1st 4 years... learn how that car handles on the TRACK, then move up to a Skyline... it might just save your life.

One thing I will say against the Evo's are their FF bias... tendency to understeer etc. Troy's already quietly shat himself twice while I had the tail out in the R32... the 4WD kinda desensitizes you to tail out shenanigans. I'd definately set an Evo up like a FF circuit racer ie: replace the rear sus with iron bars and dump the front and jack the tail end up sky high.

One of the biggest things I've found with Evo's (any of them really) is that they can't be complied in Australia (the Evo 6.5 and 7/8 were sold there so you can't bring in the same body shape - direct competition to locally sold models AFAIK) so that means instant street cred if you have a III, IV or V, add to that their ability on the track, the 4-door convenience, the ENDLESS amount of tuning parts and most of all... the fact that Troy has one. I wanna be like Troy

The general guidelines for setting up a business in Japan is that you have to employ 3 Japanese nationals and have a certain amount of capital at your disposal (I think it varies on the type of business). If I remember correctly those rules are just for registering your business name! I would only set up a business if you were going to stay here for life... it's just too much trouble otherwise, for something that might fail. Actually, this car was on show at the NIsmo Festival. It's the Nismo R34 GT-R Z-Tune Z2 Final, meaning it's the final version of the Z-Tune to be produced by Nismo. Remember Nismo were looking for any sub 20,000km (or really low kilometer) R34 GT-Rs to buy? Well this is what they are going to do with them. I heard they were going to go for about $150,000, so that price is still ok I guess for what you get. Some pics:
