  1. Is there any companys in australia that sells aftermarket intake mannifolds to suit a RB20DET and if so who should I contact

I dunno if im on the money with this but from what I have seen/read the RB20's are no where near as responsive to mods as a SR20DET, also turbo sizing is much more researched with the SR20 where as the RB20 turbo sizing is not as easy, Like everyone knows a SR20 and a TO4E is a good combination and delivers alot of HP, where as the RB20, you have the option of using a GT2530 or some of the stock turbo's from rb25 and VG turbo's, although ROY tried out the Trust TD06-20G unit but besides that there isnt many options, I think the SR20 would win in the power stakes easilly....
  3. i got 120rwkw on stock boost, fmic, pod filter and 3" zorst and was running 3.45 (VL) diff gears I think it would be around 140+rwkw now, 14psi boost and 20 deg timing
  4. 16psi, im running my stock rb20 turbo at 14psi, from what i have heard the exhaust wheels dont like been overspeed. Jst out of curiousity are the rb25 turbo's a ceramic design or steel wheeled? I agree with what Discopotato03 said, you get a more acurate boost response when the actuator gets its vacume pressure from the comp cover.. For what its worth will i get much more power using a rb25 turbo or will I still be restricted at running 15psi??

  6. Im looking at getting a RB25DET turbo and bolting it onto m RB20DET, what sort of mods would i require to bolt it up or is it a direct swap, also what sort of power could I achieve with one of these turbo's?
  7. Im interested to know as to what sort of 5spd does the RB20DET us, I know VL Turbo's use a MX-7 5spd but what do they call the RB20DET one?

  13. Yes gearbox is still for sale, it has done approx 150,000KM, it came with a import engine i bought from Japanese Motorsport (JMS) in adelaide, as far as i can tell it is in VGC as I didnt use it cos I have a manual box behind the RB20DET I can deliver to melbourne
  14. I remember seeing a sticky thread on here about where you can download the R32 GTS-T workshop manual, is this manual still available to download?? if not if someone has a copy of it could they send it to me via snail mail, im willing to pay for the postage etc... ???
  15. i really dont know, i know with the VL turbos the auto box is alot stronger than the n/a version.

Yep Ive seen peugeot turbo diesels, yep japsky33 is right you can adjust the boost, fit a bigger exhaust and intercooler and a cold air intake, even with all this it aint goin to give you a big power gain. Diesel is all about fuel, the more you can give it the better.. BUT the only problem is diesel is a slow burning fuel so exhauts temp is the main killer with diesel engines best bet is go and buy a VL turbo or a Skyline, theory is bang for your bucks dude!!!
  17. anyone know if the 2535 is external w/gate or not and will it bolt up to the rb20 manifold? I put the same post on skylinesdownunder.com and someone put up they are getting 294RWKW from a RB20 with a GT30 and 100 shot of NOS???? GTR cams i take it you just use the ones from a stock RB26DETT??

Im mainly interested in drag racing, if i had a PowerFC, Bigger Injectors what would be the best turbo i should get that i can make at least 230-250 RWKW without tons of lag I was thinking of the TD06 but i dunno if it would be my best option as for the 2530 im thinking it would be good but weather it will be able to flow enough air for 240kw?????
  19. is the TD06- 20G a direct bolton to the standard exhaust manifold or it requires a custom manifold also is the TD06-20G a much larger unit than the 2530??

Im looking into geting an aftermarket ECU for my RB20DET I know Apexi makes a PowerPC for them but are har to get and rather expensive, is there any of the local ECU makers, Microtech,Haltech,Autronic etc.... make in the way of plug in ECU's?? Also do any of these plugin ECU's have the ability to do away with the airflow meter?
