i tried metho on my mates pulsar once, the paint around that area ended up a lil bit dull.. don think i wanna experiment on my car.. lol

yeah i know its a sticker, but its way to hard to peel it off.. Besides, i bite my nails so its a lil bit hard to get under there..

Hi everyone, jus need to know of a good mechanic that's pretty trustworthy (ie. wont fudge anything else up to get more business outta me.. lol) an has pretty a pretty competitive price, I love my car an like most people on this forum, I want what's best for it.. I live around the St George (Brighton) area an it would be good to find a local, although I don't mind travelling (as long as its not too far).. hey, It’s a 1996 R33 series 2 gtst, only mods so far: full 3” turbo back exhaust, Turbosmart supersonic BOV. Had a turbosmart boost tap but took it of, feel like it wasn’t running smooth with it on.. Do you think it could be from the exhaust?? Its only started making the popping noise in the higher rev range since I put it on about 3 weeks ago.. didnt notice it if it was doing it before

I dunno why I posted in the NSW thread.. This is the first time to post, guess i jus got excited.. lol my mechanic done a full service on Thursday, changed the timing belt, spark plugs (Platinum), petrol filter, coolant an a lube service.. he’s usually pretty good, ill take my car back to him on Tuesday with some of the forum feedback.. thanks for your help..

Hey guys, Last night I was driving around, gave the car a bit of a stab an I noticed that at about 5.5 – 6 RPM I could hear a slight popping noise, only lasted for a second or two.. Later on in the night I was jus driving smooth then outta nowhere the popping noise (like a wrx with an exhaust) came back.. the car feels like it doesn’t wanna move an the noise is so irritating,, Spoiled my night, an now im cut cause I just done the 100,000km service last Thursday the 5th June.. Any ideas what this could be?? I really hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else, Its so depressing.. Thanks

hey jarryd, i have the same problem with my R33, i only noticed when i installed a turbosmart boot tee and BOV.. it was really bad when i first put it in then my mechanic said i needed to block the the vent from the original plumb back BOV... this worked but it was still cutting out, he also cleaned the throttle body which fixed it up a lil bit more.. it only cuts out maybe once every now an then, getting it fully serviced next week hopefully that may fix it.. in the mean time if you find the solution to this shitty problem please lemme know, thanks
