  1. thank you every one for your help. Turns out it may not be the turbos looks like comp is down in 6 looks like my old stock motor has seen its day. Will find out if the turbos are all good but at this stage according to my mechanic he says the turbos are proberly fine. But every one was most helpfull.
  2. dont get me wrong i love the 2530s guys i love them. I just want more out of them on pump they start to spool at 3000 rpm and out of the gate they are just an awsome setup. i think il give the gtx a miss too many people complain about them not doing what they are ment too.Id love to find some one who has a gtx 35r with dyno sheets on pump but no one seems to have done enuff testing. As for my turner he is very good. He seems to think my acuators are not strong enuff and they are closing on full boost. Maybe thats all it is. I know they fall over around 6700 and onwards. Still yet to put the cams in as they are comming from japan. They are odd tho 264 10.01 and i think they are 260 10.08 or 264 10.08 lift stage 2 hks Whos the best to see about rebuilding my hks 25/30s my exaust should be good enuff its mines sport div dumps vielside front pipe into a 5 inch body balistic cat twin 3.5 inch exaust Id love to stay with the twins to be honest but i would really hate to have them rebuilt and have a massive fail on hp topping out around the 450-470 on a dynapac hub dyno.;............
  3. i tried to read the gtx thread and omfg all it is in 50 f**kin pages is people spewing rubbish. I found 1 guy who had posted up sheets of his old and new turbo. This site used to be very helpfull but now all you get is people who tell you what not to do with short answers that help no one.Every one seems to know best but no one posts up any proof. I come here to find out the best set up for my car to make the sorta power im looking for with some response. I dont want to rebuild the 25/30 and try again to fail again on pump fuel,I want to change to a single but i get mixed msg from every one.Skylines australia used to be such a good comunity with people who were only too happy to help but now you get alot of people who mouth off and are stuck up assholes. f*k this really
  4. i been on the phone all morning i think i have come up with a solution. I already have a greddy twin afm front pipe and a bran new turbosmart 45mm gate in the box. Talked to a few turbo places this morning and 3 of them said as good as to4z are they are out of date tecnolagy and i should look at something more current. Few places said gtk650 is too small and will not be what im looking for. However i have been told that the new gtx garrett range of turbos would be the way to go....... so im looking at a gtx 3582r .82 rear rated at 770hp,what do you guys think about that.Spool imports said they have had great sucsess with these turbos comming on early and making better hp at lower boost. Should see 500 atws on pump no problems with the gtx 35r. Any one else seen these in action. i think i might have a fuel problem tho,Some say you can make 500 on stock lines with a uprated pump some say you can not. Im running a 040 intank and have not run out of fuel while tuning with my 25/30s at 470hp or there abouts so i guess i can only try.
  5. Im running 1.6 bar or so atm with 25/30s and my tuner told me i wont make any more power on them on pump. Sorry i was messed up when i posted last night i had been up all day was at powercruise and had to drive 4 hours home.Id like to make around 500 hp atw On a hub dynopak i made around 470hp, my set up is this apexi power fc hks 2530s stock manifolds hks electronic boost controler 2x rb25 green lable afm 040 in tank pump stock fuel lines (not run out of fuel yet) 700cc injectors mines sports div dumps into a veilside twin front pipe 5 inch body balistic cat. my exaust for the most part seems to be twin 3 and a half inch greddy cam gears When i come on boost is real responsive i just charge our infront of most stuff. Now when i come on boost she spikes out to just over 1.6bar then slides back down to 1.4-1.5 bar, Can you post your dyno sheets of the 25/30s mate making around 550 hp at all 4s please. here is my old dyno sheet. cheers keiron.
  6. Does any one have any dyno sheets or any thing with turbonetics turbos. Im trying to decide what to do,Either turbonetics gtk650 or a t04z. Computer is a apexi I run 98 due to the fact i dont have e85 where i live. Due to turbonetics not making a 750hp turbo or even 700 in the turbonetics range i have 2 options that way gtk650 or gtk850 or t04z My motor is stock atm i like response due to having hks2530s atm but not enuff power. Chasing around 500 hp to 550hp on pump atw for my gtr. I have a set of 264 cams already comming but it looks like a turbo let go on my gtr................. Can any one please post some dyno results or some thing to help me out. cheers keiron.
  7. ok so i finaly put together my car after messing around with the way it looks.Its growing on me for sure it has a diffrent style about it now. So i had the wheels painted in sikens gloss black 2 pac windows tinted tail lights indercators tinted profesionaly A pilars painted in gloss black 2 pac. What do you think.
  8. Getting the windows tinted at some other things tinted ill post up pictures befor i goto power cruise i think it will be phat as when its done. Its going to change the whole apearence of the car to be honest and the black wheels are growing on me.
  9. i dunno if i like the black as much as the shadow chrome! aaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh its staying like that for power cruise tho. ill post some pictures after the rain goes away.
  10. yea i did find out what they were.The gear box it self did not suffer from not having them,I did however replace the gear box but only because of the 4th gear syncro,It was hardly noticeable and many friends who own gtrs said i was crazy for bothering but im anal about my cars and they have to be on the money and in good order or im unhappy with the car. I like every thing to be spot on. Looking forward to powercruise this year,I hope more people from sau turn up.
  11. Had my volk 19x10.5 +22s repainted in gloss black.Ill get some pics of the car when its back on its feet. Also picked up some carbon aero clips for the hood but im undecided if im to install them or not. Any thoughts people.
  12. would you sell the crank and rods without the pistons.Dont think your able to buy just 1 poston from jun they only sell em in sets........ also has the crank been crack tested.

  15. Its random i had the system bled around 6 months ago it stoped happening now its happening all the damn time on my 33gtr. Any one help me with this i rather drive around in 4wd i think it does damage to drive around in 2wd ya? And im anal about my car i wont drive it unless its 100% Any body had a problem with this and fixed it..... The hicass light comes on sometimes but not often.

  19. Bump this stuff needs a new home! Be diffrent i say. The turbo is Turbonetics top end line of turbos.These guys did the surge porting befor any one else and there turbos are regarded as some of the best in the world.

Just a free bump i have hks hypermax II in my 33 gtr,The old style are regarded as some of the best coil overs you can get.These things are just fkn awsome i have had cars with tein and so on,Tein and other brands just don t even compare to HypermaxII hks coilovers.These things ride like a dream.
