Sure am getting some fittings made when hes not too busy. Just waiting on him mate. Nope never run it down the q/m mate but id suspect it would be around the mid to late 11s maybe better if i can get it off the line correctly.

BNR34 (14411-AA300)Ceramic~225PS 33N1 (14411-24U10)~280PS steel = hks gtss turbo eqiv 34N1 (14411-AA401)(14411-AA402)(14411-AA403)~250PS steel thats the diffrence. If they are ceramic they are only good for replacement for stock turbs with stock boost.

My mate has a bit of poly pipe made up with a compressor attachment and hooks it up befor the intercooler and pushes compressed air into the plenum via the intercooler. start psi low and move it up to around 20 psi you will find any leaks at all if they are there.Keep a spray bottle with water handy and a peice of hollow pipe to listen threw . motor off of coarse.

Yes i think they would i have 700s and i run 1.3 to 1.5 bar with more to spare.

To be honest ant and i had the engine bay stripped down and painted in about 5 to 6 hours. Motor already out of the car helped alot.Ant is really good with strip down work as he has pulled so many cars apart and put them back together again. Oh thats not what im saying. Im saying he wants to know what gudeon pin came out of what piston and what rods it was connected to and what order the pistons were in. Like i said hes anal about things when it comes to building motors.Hes a very good mechanic with alot of exp with RB Sr and nissan engines but sometimes i feel hes over the top and i don t want to spend money where i don t need too. he already said i would have to replace the rings and bearing and i new that from the start. Thats why im asking what my options are. If i can get it all balanced and set up to as new or better then it should not be a problem yes? thats why i wanted detailed infomation so i had options rather then him telling me i need to replace pistons and pins and things like that.

Its been running,Pulled apart My mechanic told me that the gudeion pins have to go back where they come in the same way they came out. from also the pistons have to go back on the rods they came from and so on and so on. I was planning on doing new rings and bearings but i wanted to know about the other stuff. My mechanic is anal......Things have to be perfect.. in his world of putting motors together. just wanted a performance opinon.

Say i have a forged motor for argument sake a rb26.The motor has a full forged bottom end crank rods pistons and so on. The kit is pulled out of the block and not marked, So piston/gudgeon pin/rod are not marked where they came from.Even the rings are in a pile.... Any one offer some insight if this can go back together saftly Is that a massive head #$%^ and if they don t go back together the correct way is it catasrophic failure time? Any one shed some light on this as im not a mechanic. As much detail as possible please.

Ya 2 days ago i think i broke my middle finger at work!! Things are happening mate just not at a great rate speed.I fitted a custom catch can and water res im just waiting for some fittings to be made by another forum member.

whats the diffrence in the 2? the stock rb26 one and the nismo? To be honest from all reports i have ever seen unless your chasing over 600 hp at the wheel the standard plenum is perfect for the job,Not often the japs got stuff wrong to begin with. I sorta find it funny when people make 400 hp atws and they throw 2 grand at a plenum for wank factor.

Same thing happen to me on a duel lanes and i went to the police station and showed them.I told them it was the other car that was speeding i was in the back ground on the further lane. They told me that i could ask to have more info sent out that would prove the laser pointer on the camera was pointed at my car at the time of the photo. This was a 4wd mounted camera where the officer sits inside it. But the cost of the extra info sent out was expensive and that was befor i even would be able to take it to court. I paided and took the fine.

Hey mate at the back of the rb26 rocker cover the twin head fitting on that is there any push in fitting you can do that will take a -12 push lock fitting?. I have the gates push lock hose and you just can t get the bastard onto the standard fitting to use the standard clamps.Even after i hacksawed off the bump in it the hose the way its made will not strench due to the braid inside it. IF you have made something up for other guys please feel free to shoot me a tell id like to replace all 6 at the back of the motor to replace the hose's with new gates stuff and to run the hose for my catch can that has aero push lock fittings on it ready to go.

So i have a oil catch can and gates hose that is push lock and for the life of me i can not get the hose over the fittings on the cam covers.My covers are painted all nice and what not the problem is i need some push in fittings or something along those lines to suit the gates hose that fits -12 push lock fittings that i have on my oil catch tank. Some one said there were some fittings on skylines that push into the cam cover fittings if any one can point me in the right direction.

Well it also can become a 3rd parties problem. Brother in law manages ultra tune here,A client bought a prado second hand with a road worthy from a priv party with a roadworth,Basicly the brakes started to sqeek and it was leaking oil out of the motor.The front pads were rooted and it had a number of oil leaks.(1 week after purchase) The manager of ultra tune told him to take the car back to the place of roadworthy and have them fix it as they passed a car that was not roadworthy,If they don t fix the car then report them to the rta for dodgy roadworthy,Basicaly they have to fix the car at there own cost. You always have to feel for people tho who buy second hand cars,If you knew something was not right with the car and disclosed it from the start then too bad for him,But if you bodgy the car up and sell it knowing something was wrong with the car thats another matter..... Can i ask what was the figure he paided for the vl? i mean really its a vl non turbo car? even in fair condition they are not worth that much unless in mint conditon with very low ks.... most vls are running around with 250 tho plus ks on the clock....Tell him to get the car checked out and let you know whats wrong with it and what it costs to fix,You don t have to pay for any thing but atleast you know whats wrong with it,Could be nothing....

Our shed got like 45 gig of footage for the week end,YEt to even get my hands on it yet,All at my tuners house but if i find some of the 34 ill be sure to post it up, Accept the footage of me asking the mercury guy to stay away from me with his nitto ill keep that to my self!! The mercury guys were very friendly i had some awsome runs with phat33 we were ever so evenly matched for the most part.

was fun to watch on the track down the main strait she torq steers a little under boost. They only drove it here and there and to be honest with some of the wankers on the track id pick my time and place to drive it aswell. Alot of the rear wheel drive v8 boys just had cutters on to do power skids and shit due to the fact they all took off the slicks when it did not help when they got spanked by rice cookers I saw one guy rage big time when i beat him 2 runs in a row under his own conditions,First time 40 at the bollards destroyed his charged commo second time he screamed at me 20 at the bollards im like ill be off boost he said "exactly" so i figure it id do it to shut him up and still beat him easy lol,Next corner he just started to do burn outs and yelling abuse out of his redneckadoor lol.
