Hey guys, I'm looking to buy my first car in the next few weeks (or days). I was wondering what your opinions are of a good first car for a guy my age (almost 20) with a budget of less than 12k. I'd like something new-ish, reliable and that looks reasonable, maybe not a Turbo though as of yet because of insurance. I'd trade it in later for something Turbo-y in 1 or 2 years maybe if I'm still interested in that stuff. Thanks for any help in advance

Just using Windows 7 here (while I should be studying for exams ) and I must say it's quite the awesomeness. A few bugs here and there, but otherwise, it's better than Vista.

Hey guys, I'm in the process of buying a car, and just have 1 small problem with it: the radio doesn't work. Tape and CDs work fine, it's just the radio that doesn't. Would this mean the antennae is not plugged in properly (my guess). Is that hard to fix? I'm taking it down to a workshop for an inspection, but they're not sure if they will have a look behind the stereo. Thanks for any help

My rent's car almost got damaged last night as well when some moron started to knock really hard on the back window and the boot. I guess the only solution is to keep away from the Hindley Street vicinity.
