Engine turns clockwise when looking at it from the front. can be turned backwards but not really recommended. i think you have the right idea, check it rotates freely before you fire it up!

Drill and tap the block Justjap in Sydney ( i think) keeps the belts in stock for RB 26/30 conversions. seen em advertized with other retailers aswell.

NO only works when car is moveing (over 80kmh or is it 60? cant remember just now)

yes its 4 wheel steering has a steering rack acting on the rear wheels moves them about 1 degree i think at speeds over 80 kmh (some one will correct me if im wrong) models? lots but not sure wich ones exactly but my R33 GTR has it! hicas is short for Help I Cant Actualy Steer joking sorry lol got no idea what it means.

dont know about TIG(probly could) but def cant MIG brass to steel usually braze it with an OXY/ACETYLENE and coated bronze rods.

i have a similar front lip on my R33 GTR and would like to change to the original nissan (plastic) one. were can i buy one ?? from nissan??. good luck with the sale of yours. PS love the look of your 33 Robert

Brake fluid sounds like your slave cylinder is stuffed check for leaks around it or the flexible hose

yeh just did my belt( r33 gtr) used a gates racing and its noisy at idle but im not surprised,much stiffer than a standard belt. im a mechanic by trade and ive come across this before, itl' go away in 2/3000 ks (beds in i supose) if its a constant whining at all revs then its to tight. good rule of thumb for tension is to be able to move the belt forward/backwards between the exhaust cam gear and ider about 5mm each way Burkey

has any body struck this before?? the hose that supplys water to the spray nozzle for rear wiper on my R33 GTR had a pin hole in it directly above the 2 ECUs near the battery,tested rear wiper and sprayer , no water ok will look at that later went to drive the car and all lights go on and cant move the car!! Lucky it happened in the drive way because everthing went crazy!! ABS pump went full on none stop, centre diff locked on full to front (gauge of the scale) AWD and ABS lights on .couldnt move the car. if this happened while driving it could have been deadley. pulled out ECUs dried them with a hair drier all seems ok. lights out drives ok. has this happened to any body else?? the pipe is in a stupid postion might look at repositoning the ECUs so cant happen again looks like a major operation to get at the pipe and replace it.

thanks for the help. guys gonna pick the car up in a coupla days (bought it any way!) im pretty sure it had fins on the diff housing but thats all i can say for now will check the other things when i get it home and get back with a chassis number etc thanks again Burkey

sorry for my ignorance on this subject looking at buying a R33 GTR how do i tell a V spec From a "normal" GTR??? and what are the differences? Burkey
