  1. yer lunch time sounds good , how bout w meet up in the car park that is behind nobbys beach car park(not sure of the name )there is usualy plenty of parks down there and we could get all the stags together for pics too down there and it is next to the park aswell.
  2. 10th sounds great to me guys ill be there for sure to show the big girl off !! ha ha . what time are we looking at meeting and were bouts ??
  3. hi guys im in newy and you can count me in for sure . its always good to get out and show the baby off and what better way to do it than with heaps of othe hot stags and lines .
  4. TO start with mate your stag is auto and it is also a series 1 which has a diffrent engine , not the NEO engine
  5. my s2 is a manual neo and it is pitty much stock except for a BOV ,10 psi ,K&N pannel filter and my exhaust isnt the factory one but it is just the same and im getting after a tune on a AWD dyno 170awkws . i dont know why you guys are talking such low figures like 100kw - 140kw because you should be getting that from the factoy with out any mods
  6. i think from the looks of the marks on the CAS it would be about 2-3 maybe 4 deg advance at the most i would not recomend you trrying to tune it urself mate it is very easy to go that little bit too far and ur motor will go bang and be stuffed . for the price of a dyno i dont think it is worth the risk it would only take someone who knows whaat they are doing bout 1.5 - 2.5 hrs to tune ur car poperly and it will run heaps better than if you tryed to tune it urself and cost about $400 . if you tune it urself and stuff the motor it will cost you about $3000+ not to mention if you get caught by the cops for speeding trying to test un it .
  7. well mmate we first played with the boost and went from the stock 7psi to 10 as any higher and it wasnt delivering the boost smooth enough even at 12 psi it was realy bumpy and it only gained 3 kw extra so 10 was the perfect spot . then we advanced the timing a little bit by little until it took out the sag in the power curve which occurs about 3500rpm and the power incresed to with the advance of the timing and it was done on a 4wd dyno . it makes all the diffrence mate because it is tansfering all the power the way it should be not only throught the two rear wheels . ok mate hope this answers ur question if you got any more just ask mate im only too happy to help .cheers johnny
  8. hi guys im just wondering if you guys who have put up dyno results of your stags are you running autos or manuals?? and are they s1 engines because the power figures seem to be a bit low for a neo . my 99 S2 RS4 stag with just a 2 1/2 inch exhaust turbosmart boost control , BOV and 5 speed manual with 10 psi ran this
  9. glad i brought a s2 now and not an s1 . my mate had a r33 gtst skyline and it had a cooler , 3'' exhaust , pod filter and was running 10 psi even after it was tuned on a dyno it still only made 175 kw , my s2 stagea is basicly stock except for a cat back exhaust and k&n filter element and stock cooler and it still made 170.8 kw when tuned , the neo is an awasome motor im so glad i brought it over the earlyer one .
  10. i removed the std boot control because i was having trouble with it . and it is adjustable when on the dyno .
  11. hay lachlanw my s2 manual stag which is stock except for boost controler ,blow off valve , cat back exhaust and k&n filter element . i disconected the std boost controler and fitted a turbosmart one then took it to hunter all wheel dyno in heatherbrae in newcastle got it on the dyno and as it was it was making 147.7 kw on 8 psi then after a bit more boost up to 9.5 psi and a few deg of timing we ended up with 170.8 kw .and the AFR was still nice and ritch so could of gone a bit more but i was very happy with the result and only took us 1.5 hrs now the car har heaps better bottom end torque the mid range hole is gone and it sounds so much better idles smoother. SO MY OPINION IS GO AND GET UR CAR DYNO TUNED IT MAY BE A BIT PRICEY BUT IT IS WELL WORTH IT IN THE END YOU WILL BE IMPRESSED WITH THE RESULTS .
