  3. Dont know what the plug gaps were.. they are platnum plugs.. ill try change the fuel pump n see what happens
  4. Hey guys ive been having this problem latley on my 32t. I think its a fuelpump issue but not really sure. could you throw a few ideas this way as to what it could be... When i get a little heavy footed on the excellerator the car kinda has a little touble. it doesnt produce a smooth increase in power. kinda jidders n doesnt really want to move especially at higher revs. it feels as though not enough fuel is getting through or maybe no sparke or something. My injectors where cleand n flushed about 10,000kms ago and the spark plug were changed at that time to .. car is totally stock at the moment... i do have a bosch 023 fuel pump just havnt installed it yet... is installing one of these pumps something that i could do or does it require some sort of modification?? thanks for you help!
  5. So would you say the best thing for me to do is ... wait n see if i blow my 20 box then get it replace with a 25 box? is the 25 box much stronger or is there another solution for a similar cost price>?
  6. i was just curious to know if there is a way to calculate a "there abouts" quarter mile time using stats from a car... Power & weight. i do understand it alot comes down to drivers ability traction and so forth... but lets scrap all the variables and leave it down to power and weight... every car has a limit as to how fast it could go down a quarter no matter who drives it. is there some sort of equation that could calculate something like this?

Hey guys .. is it just fact that all power windows will sotp working after a while .. my R32 GTST, the windows were perfect now the left side one only works when controlled by the drivers side switch .. drivers side window needs to be played with to get it working... My real question is ... is it just a simple problem where the connection on the swtch is just old causing them not to work. is it easy to fix? can it be done on your own ? could anyone help?

  10. I just got myself a 1 tonne clutch put into my 32t and i have the same problems .. usually hard to get into 1st and reverse...but the other gears feel really notchie mechanic took it back adjusted the clutch and it was fine after that ... you might wanna check your clutch

  12. Im just about to get an exhaust put in from the turbo back... car is stock ATM my question is .. will i need to change the dump pipe once i upgrade my turbo .. i will be upgrading to the GTRS Bolt on kit cheers
  13. i had a similar problem with my idle revs being at about 1500 - 1800 rpm realised the connection to my ecu wasnt good.. it needed a little tightening, after that everything was fine ...
  14. im pretty sure 230rwkw is possible with the GTRS .. isnt it? - You say 444 injectors are good for my goals .. could somone please explain to me what happens if the injectors are too big...?
  15. Ive done a bit of searching on this turbo... there not many opinions on this... My mechanic suggested that i slap a GTRS turbo kit on my rb20det but i think i heard they might be a bit laggy.. is this true? does anyone have one of these on their RB20? when does full boost come in rpm? cheers Further to that .. my mechanic also sugested 700 cc injectors... would that be over kill?
  16. hey guys i was thinking about upgrading the tubo off my rb20 with a hi flowed rb25turbo ... I wanted to know .. . what does reconditioning a turbo actually mean ... does it almost bring it back to a "brand new" condition? I just want to know the life expectancy ...(thats saying if i play by the rules and not break it by being stupid) thanks for you help
  17. yeop figured out to be the clutch fan... would getting thermos be a better alternative.... would thermo fans get in the way of a FMIC?
  18. yeh its is like a humming noise from the front ... i think the noise started after i got my clutch chaznged but i dont see what that could do with the timing belt or fan ... i dont have FMIC on it yet .. still in stock form... ill check outmy timimng belt as soon as i get home ... any other ideas guys i appreciate it
  19. hey guys ... im not exactly sure when this noise actually started. my r32 sounds like a bus! i think the sound has something to do with my fan ... i thought maybe the clutchs in the fan had seized and the fan was spinning constantly, but when the car is off and i spin the fan it free spins fine. its a vooing noise that goes with my revs... the onlything i could think of is the fan but i cant seem to see any problem with it... anyone got any ideas/?/
  20. well mine are totally warped .. my car wobbles when i break and i can feel it on my foot when breaking ... last time i got it services my mechanic told me they were warped and thatthey will get worse .. anyways im increasing the HP in my car so i would like to be able to stop a little better then i do now .. sow could somoene recomend somthing good i should replace them with?

Hey guys on my 32gtst the breaks are totally warped... they have been machined too many times and it looks like the discs will need to be changed... firstly does anyone know how my discs got so warped to begin with? and when it comes to changing discs, is it a big job. ive never changed discs b4. would anyone know of some half decent disc i should get. something better than standard
