  1. Awesome they're the ones of been looking at going to anyway thanks for the heads up.
  2. Hey guys just want to know of any reputable workshops that do a good window tinting job here in Brisbane. Cheers Robbo
  3. The idea of the boot lid swap sounds like a way better idea, mine is pretty much perfect condition except for some shit in between the emblem and lettering, a detailer should be able to get it out. Whereabouts are u i'm in the brisbane outer suburbs if that helps. Car is also silver. Cheers Robbo.
  4. Hey just wondering how much it would cost for the rear spoiler to be removed, holes filled and resprayed (much prefer the smoother spoilerless look ). Also any good reputable places around brisbane. Much appreciated.
  5. Damn really doesn't look as tho it will fit over the lip, may have to get in touch with riverside infiniti and see what they can do. Thanks for the extra pics tho very helpful.
  6. Hey does the car bra also accommodate the oem front lip, if so will definately buy it off u
  7. Understand where your coming from with how it may rub and cause a bit of chaffing on the paint, i'd personally rather it did that as opposed to getting stone chips as some have a tendency to cause the bar to fracture. Also consider that it goes under the front lip and will add extra padding in case of speed bump scrapes or steep driveways. Just how I see how it may help, am keen to see if anyone on this forum has one and their opinion. Cheers.
  8. Hey nice work on the bumper, just wondering if you'd ever consider getting a car bra, have played on the idea of doing so due to stone chips on the front bar. Curious to know if any guys have thought about it as well or have one for that matter...or maybe group buy if enough people interested?
  9. Massive thankyou to Jon (n15m0) the lights work perfect now much appreciated, i'll keep you updated on when I go back to America hopefully our dollar is a bit better then. Once again though thankyou very much.
  10. Yeh the ones through Delonix are Philips Patent which is alot different to the oem Philips globes, thats why they are hell cheaper
  11. Did go thru the delonix site and asked for the philips 6000k pair and they sent me the supervision brand el cheapos, so at the moment am waiting for the philips ones. Decided to ask around for an oem one cos i thought they'll be readily available and may find one locally.
  12. Yeh i'm all keen for that, tried it too, made it less obvious but still alot there, exhaust is very shiny now so its all good
  13. Hey Jon, Much appreciated with your reply, sent 666DAN a PM so hopefully hear back from him soon.
  14. Had gone the Autobarn option and got quoted $500+ and think that was for a single, was just considering looking around here first as alot of cars have their ballasts crushed and/or wires removed and may have a spare for cheap. Am actively looking on ebay too hoping something pops up.
  15. Hey guys looking to see if anyone has their oem xenon globes still on hand and don't plan on changing it back (long shot I know). Was in the process of changing mine over when I stupidly dropped the globe and busted it, will pay good $$$ for a spare as i'm really keen to get these going. Cheers, Mark
  16. Awesome, been trying to put it off until someone had an idea of how to get it off! SmoothV35 just a couple of Q's where did u get it from and also how'd u come to think of putting a metal polish on glass? Cheers
  17. Was just about to reconnect my xenons together when it unfortunately looks as tho they've cut the wires to close to the loom, my problem is i'm not too electrically minded and the only way i see to re connect them is to splice them (wires being too short i can't) is there any way I can get some sort of spacer to crimp on the ends so it gives me a bit more room. Much appreciated if anyone can help cos I really want to get these going.
  18. Decided not to stuff around with the windows as i'll prob make it worse, going the safer option and getting it professionally done. Will keep updated.
  19. Just tried the Autoglym car glass polish with no luck. Looks as tho it may have to get done professionally.
  20. Yeh i'll give that a try, looks as tho it needs a cutting compound of some sort on there to remove a layer, closest thing I can put it as is prob water spotting.
  21. Haha yeh have tried that but didn't work unfortunately. Also tried cleaners like windex but that doesn't work either, might have to have hit and miss with other cleaners. I'll try and take photos of what it looks like but don't think it'll show up too well. Its just one of those annoying things u could live with but because I want everything perfect on this car it is annoying me knowing that its there.
  22. Nice! Really like the clear indicators make the car look even better than before (almost impossible) Not sure when i'm going back to the states but will keep updated, might be able to organise a group buy while i'm there, which should make a difference on our dollar being so low. Glad your happy about your purchase, apologise again for the delay for when I got back.
  23. Hey guys, just trying to sort out the little things that annoy me and my main one is oxidation on the windows that give it a bubbly look. Its only on the surface and just wondering if anyone else had this problem and how'd they fix it. Just need to know if it has to be done professionally or is there some sort of abrasive cleaner that will clean it off. Much appreciated if anyone has any ideas.
  24. Cheers Jon, think I might hold off a while its mainly just the one rim and the others aren't too bad. When are you putting up some pics of the HKS exhaust wouldn't mind seeing how it looks all set up.
