My new clutch rocked up today, looks a winner

I got my new clutch today hopefully have it all installed tomorrow night. Towing the skyline out there with the Stag so might cut a few laps in that as well. I'm keen to meet up at Vilis before for a nice breakfast or us southies could meet up at Hungry Jack at Darlington then hit Vilis? Krishy, we might be able to bleed your brakes at the track if we have enough jacks, i'll have mine so if a few others do we should be able to do it easy.

Just get them to write on the defect clearence form that the window tint is ok, they usually write a few things on it when you go through then keep it in the car. With the turbo timer just unplug it and shove the wires up in the dash. I did it with the wiring on my boost controller and they didn't find it but they did look for it. Regency aint as bad as people make it out to be. I've been through about 5 times and past first time everytime.

The clutch was installed in about 2006 when my car had a little old RB20, It's an extra heavy duty single plate, not sure on its power rating. My car now has a RB26 making 324rwkw and has seen about 5 track days. Since the power increase i have gone very easy on the clutch. I haven't spoken to the manufacturer about it as im pretty happy it lasted as long as it did.

Why do you want to upgrade??? Im still running my original radiator, pretty sure the RB20 rad is the same as GTR.

Im pretty sure its this one as i cant see any other twin plates in their line up. They said they should have it made and sent off tomorrow. cost $2000 include delivery. It was also the cheapest twin plate i could find. If you look at their web site you'll see that a fair few drag racers use them and so did last years Drift Australia winner. Im pretty sure you dont normally need a fire extinguisher for practice days, but i would never go out there without one. I just use a full face motorbike helmet and i fit my sunnies in no worries. Maybe try South coast Yamaha at Morphett Vale.

shouldn't you have got a temp licence when you filled out the paperwork? I signed up for mine and was out on the track the next day.

Only thing that scares me is the price.

If you could find out that would be awesome, I'm after a twin plate to take 350-400rwkw and lots of track use. Also need it ASAP! Cheers!
