could it be that you possibly turned on the fog light switch?

i know the car may not have fog lights installed. but the button will still work and put the parkers on, i know i have done it a few times myself.

just try pressing it.

Ive been under the dash looking for where the power goes to my boost controller

went for a drive and parked and heard the lights on beep

so i go to turn the lights off but there already off on the dial

i have just disconnected the battery

so i can come and see if any one knows how to help?

all i did under the dash was just check around

changed the hose and it runs a little differant (revs more stable at idle)

but ebc solenoid still not working

when it is not so hot ill trace the wire which gives it power under the dash

Ok i found the issue a little bit of hose coming out of the fpr is broken right open

however i don't hear that intermittent buzz noise from the solenoid anymore?

i have some silicon hose that should be cool yeah?

heard a gtr on massive gate out the fron of my flat in kangaroo point while i was trying to have a sleep in

i couldn't be to mad as it sounded rad i guess he saw mine out front and wanted to say hi

try bypassing the solenoid all together, put the pressure source directly to the actuators and that should be ur minimum boost level

so its always ran 1.5bar and you want to lower it? maybe the actuators / restrictors / vac line setup wont allow the turbo to go below 1.5bar

id bet its dead - has it ever been working? can ur car even handle -5's on1.5bar ? lol

not sure on how to test it but another thing u can try is make sure all the vaccum lines involving boost control are in tact and theres nothing blocking them

sounds like your actuators arent opening.. maybe the solenoid is dead and isnt letting any boost pressure go to the actuators

any way to test it ?

this thing is so old may be wise to start again with a newer one?

Hi i have a hks evc 2 its pretty ancient and im sure it has died

i have 2860-5's on the 32gtr and just noticed that i hit 1.5 bar at a glance on my new boost gauge (hks)

so i thought to turn the evc down to minimum

the gauge yet again read 1.5 bar?

so i disconnected the evc on its little harness

and still around 1.5 bar ?

is this the stock actuators ding this as a minimum boost ?

If you got the regu06 just wasted your money, go look in the rear cannon and youll see the 2 inch reducer restrictor in there to keep it quiet I made same mistake I put it on caused a restriction engine pinging though I did remove the restrictor after a lot of f**king around but yeah its not quiet anymore.
