if you cannot work that out using plain old common sense, maybe you shouldn't be fitting a turbo.
i'd guess that there are 4 ports on your turbo, two will be large and they'll be the water, one will be an oil drain and you should be able to work out which it is, from the way it mounts on the manifold, being that it drains into the sump or where ever. only leaves one port left for oil input.
doesnt take a genius to work that one out.....

hey guys. just got a couple of questions, iv done as much googling as i can but have failed miserably.
im buying a catch can off justjap, and need to know whether i want the ones with 15mm outlet, or 9mm outlet. i am running a s2 rb25det!
vernier calipers are your friend.
on my intake pipe, there is a little pipe for plumbing back your blowoff valve. atm its not plumbed back so that hole is open. now, im running a vipec ecu which means theres no afm present, which means that extra air coming in there shouldnt really be a problem, but i realise its not going to be filtered.. so i should probably either block that hole up, or plumb back my bov, correct!?yes. block it up.

I have a customer that bought an Autotechnica Plenum PN#PMRB25 from me, and a workshop is trying to fit it, and the injector rail when bolted in is as loose as a cock in a sock.
Does anyone know the genuine part numbers or know an aftermarket company that makes/supplies them?

heat range 6... probably want to look at BKR7E plugs there..

the model will be something like GM-D****M but if its the one i'm thinking of, they only make about 400wrms or so, so maybe your sub is too large or your signal/earth/power is poor. Take it to a place with a test bench (ie Autobarn, any CAMS dealer, any independant car audio store) and get them to have a look. Now they will probably only be able to tell you whether its broken or not, and give you an idea on what you can do to replace it.
I usually just reccomend replacement for any amplifier worth under 500-1000 depending on what type, seeing as though professional electrical engineer labour doesnt come cheap, neither do replacement parts from pioneer, IF you can still get them. Other option is to send to pioneer, you'll pay a fee to get a quote to repair it (only paid if you dont get the job done) and then they'll fix it once you pay the quoted amount (be prepared for a long wait, they're understaffed, and non-warranty repairs take a back seat to warranty jobs).
so look to replace it, you can flog the broken amp (if it doesnt work) off to some douche (if you have no scruples), or use it as a boat anchor or whatever.

we sold a fair few of that particular amp a few years ago, most of them were manufactured around 2003-2004 so it'd have a fair bit of age on it. being a budget amplifier the life of the components wont be the greatest. however, this is the first i have heard of one failing. As far as i can see, the woofers you have are the older model pioneer TSW-305C i think is the model. They'd be single 4ohm coils and about 400wrms. Try a kenwood KAC-9104D $599 rrp, usually sold for around $400-$500 depending on what competition you have in your area. Big amp for little money.

Yes, I'm on my P's too and I drive a GTT, but I'm not proud of breaking the law nor will I encourage others to do so.
Well, when I got my policy from Just Car, I specifically asked them "if I'm on my P's and I drive a GTT, which is illegal, and if I have an accident, will I be covered" and the girl was like "of course you will be covered" and she said something about Just Car are there to insure young P plater driving imports lol.

this happened on my silvia when i went from 12psi std ecu to 16psi with a power fc... ended up being that my intake hose was cracked and sucking air in because it was collapsing in on itself.
i replaced it and its fine... dunno if thats your problem or not.
