ssr's look fat hamish TBQH I had no concept of wheel offsets before I started reading SAU, I kind of knew that wheels looked gay when sitting in the guards, but didn't know anything of how that can be changed. I'll post up a pic when i get a chance of my +22 offset volks, they are pretty much flush with the guard, look great like that IMO and don't scrub!

lolz well i've always seen drivers being taught to downshift properly when driving a manual, and I've seen one owner cars which have clocked over half a million kays been always driven like that - trust me it's bullshit (unless you're in an auto in which case you wouldn't use the gears to slow down). I only ever clutch when I'm crawling, then put it back to first after I come to a halt, that is how pretty much everyone I know apart from my GF drives. For example imagine how much longer it would take a semi trailer to stop if old mate truckie just clutched in and used the brakes!

IMO HKS turbos are overpriced given the similarities to the Garrett equivalents nowadays.

Well I managed to buy my R32 with 3 rashed TE37s (WTF were they thinking!?) and that was off a man :S that said I can't stand my gf's driving, two feet auto driver, rolls to a stop with the clutch in and not downshifting etc if you did a search on me you'd probably find a lot of quality input

LOL @ people who try and claim non turbo RB's are in any way fast (RB30 is slightly better, but no rocket). IMHO don't bother with a Skyline til you can legally drive (and by that time afford) a decent turbo one, you'll thank yourself for it.

Well to be fair to the cops, there are a couple of R33's here which have been impounded, and a HR31, and (not sure about this one) an R34, for hoonage. So yeah it is the drivers partially, but at the same time, we do seem to get victimised a bit for "illegal mods", you don't see you cops clamping down on Harley riding wankers with ear splitting exhausts.

haha gee I have a fairly heavy clutch, but I've never gotten a sore leg or tendonitis, even from a lot of stop start driving! I dunno if they are meant to have vacuum assist or not though - the patrol's have that and it makes for a too light pedal, I've yet to drive a Skyline with a clutch action like that.

hang on, talking in approximate values here, you can use EITHER a 3076R or a 3071 to get around the same power at similar boost levels? :S
