  1. Buyer fell through. Price drop to $550.
  2. Count me in, I haven't been on a cruise for ages. Be good to meet up for a drive & chat.
  3. I used Kwik Grip but it was the paste version. I'll remember the liquid version if I need to glue the carpet again. Cheers!!
  4. I already had the sub. The $150 was for materials and a few bits & pieces. What glue should I have used for the carpet?
  5. Thanks everyone for your help. I have posted up pics & a write up in the Stagea folder. Here's the link for the article: Sub box Project Cheers, Adam
  6. I didn't like my old sub box, so I decided to make something myself to suit my Stagea & the sub. Sub is a Pioneer TS-W306C. I wanted a sealed box, easier for me to make and simple. I make Homer Simpson look like a master craftman when it comes to building things. Got 18mm MDF (2400 x 1200) from Bunnings. After my terrible attempt to cut the MDF with a jigsaw, I took it back to Bunnings to get cut, they did a far better job than me. Put it together with Aquadhere glue & 25mm wood screws. Sealed the edges inside the box with Sikiflex to ensure the seal. Bought polyfill from Spotlight to put in the box, stuck it in place with Kwik Glue. Got grey carpet from Jaycar to cover the box in, almost matches the carpet in the Stagea. Hard part was getting the carpet to stick, the Kwik Glue did do the job a little, I ended up using craft glue that my Mrs had. Put it in the Stagea this arfternoon once it was done, & it sounds a lot better than the old box I had. The new box has a volume of 1.7 cubic feet, dimensions are 880mm width, 220mm depth & 342mm height. The old box had a volume of just over 1 cubic feet. Pics attached of the new box. In all, I spent close to $150 buying all the stuff I needed, but I am happy with the end result. Cheers, Adam

  11. Bump - price drop to $150.
  12. Bump - price drop to $20
  13. Cheers mate, I'll have a look at Jaycar over the weekend to see if they stock it.
  14. Different, not to my taste but I respect their hard work. I'm sure the QPS would find a way to defect you for it though.
  15. I'm making a sealed sub box for my Stagea & have a couple of questions. 1. What is the stuff you put inside a sub box called? It is white in the sub box I have atm. 2. Where can I buy it from? Cheers, Adam
  16. Bump. Opened the box yesterday night, comes with the Tein spanners also. $900 is a bargain, I paid over $1000 for these.
  17. Still doesn't solve the problem of the rear coilovers being too short. I may see if someone will buy them in my sale thread in the Stagea Parts Classifieds, at least that way i can recoup my cash & put it towards a set that will suit my car.

  21. If I could find the R33 GTR rear spindles to suit my coilovers, no problem. But that could be easier said than done. I haven't seen too many Tein CS coilovers getting around. I have compared the manual to the auto coilovers and the Tein's I have are definitely shorter. I thought it was just the eyelet or fork at the bottom that was the difference. However with further research, I found out that Fulcrum were correct. As they are the Australian distributors, I'd hope they know what they are talking about.
  22. Those pics are awesome!!!
