cheers for the help, i went and brought the easy out set this arvo will give it ago this weekend.

i was taking the head bolts on my engine and stripped one, tryed another one that came out, tryed another that stripped again, tryed another and that work. how do i get stripped bolts out, and these bolts were done up really tight something like 50nm of torque so not hard to get out, would tapping be the best option? grind the head off? or am i buggered and need a hole new engine cos of this? the head is cracked so damaging the head taking these bolts out doesn't bother me.

i need help in getting the cam gear off, as i am taking the head off, starts like this, i got everything out ready to unbolt the head and remove it but when undoing the tension bolts for the chain i slipped and threaded the bolt, i can get one bolt undone to make the chain slack enough to pull the cam gear off, but how do i get it off, do i just undo the bolt in the middle and it will come off? i just wanted to ask for some advise before i go trying in case i brake something. the engine is single cam as well and its a chain not a belt so can't just slip it off.

hey everyone, i changing the head as it is cracked, and want to to take it out asap as is leaking water and oil into the last cylinder, now my question is once the head is off how do i go about storing the engine as the head will be off for about a month, will it wreck the engine? will it be fine? what do i need to do? help asap would be nice as i am planning to take it off this weekend.

why do people to this damage to nice cars...go kick your own cars if you really have too, they must have kicked it realy hard as my mate went side ways into a pole in his r33 and it made the tinest dent above the rear wheel he was going around 80kms aswell i was rather amazed out how tuff the cars are. i hope someone kicks these people in that did this

i am looking at getting a rb25 and rebuilding and need help on it is there a topic, thread, post, blog somewhere on how to rebuild an engine. i have looked on here but can't seem to find anything so i am either not looking hard enough or just in the wrong area. but any help or links to threads would be great
