Thank you to all at SAU for making my first time at a grip event an enjoyable day. I was pretty happy with the GTR. I think its the first time in 3 years it had a decent thrashing. I just need to get my times lower.
Hope all is well with the Fliggymobile

Is anyone meeting out Nth somewhere for the drive out?

Does you idle go up and down when you go from any gear to neutral?
I don't think its the ECU. I had an auto ecu in my manual car. It was an IMPUL one. I just had to short the neutral wire to earth so that it wouldn't rev up every time it was in neutral.

Just paid the remainder of the money owed. Looks like there will be plenty of track time.

Mate all ecu equipped vehicles have a safety cut on the fuel pump. Some use a timer, others use engine oil pressure, anything to tell the ecu that the engine has stalled.
Not rocket science, you don't want fuel pumping over a crash scene, that's the reason.
The stock pump will prime in those 5 seconds but some aftermarket items without a non-return valve will need a few key on/offs to fully prime.
Direct wiring of a street car's fuel pump is one defect I'll endorse.
Yes well that would make sense. I better have a look at how my Tomei fuel pump rewire is done. I even remember having to put a pressure switch in line with a fuel pump once to do the exact thing you stated. Thanks

I'm not too concerned with getting all the fuel out. I just need to get as much as I can. I'll dillute the remainder with fresh gasoline.
I was under the impression that the fuel pump will shut off after a moment without the engine acutally running. Did you have to keep cycling the key?
My pump kept on going . Maybe the stock ECU has a 5sec timer but I doubt it. If your car was hard to start why would you want it to cut off. It wont take long to empty it even if you have to turn it on a few times. Its possible the 5sec comes from the fuel pressure reaching its pressure and fuel pressure relay shutting the pump off. With the hose disconnected the pressure wont hit the desired pressure so in theory will keep pumping.

Just take off the fuel hose at fuel rail and turn car to on but dont start it. That's what I did when I converted to e85. I then put a bit of e85 in and pumped it out again.

Paid my deposit today also.

That is pretty cool. Can you show everything on the one gauge from the touch of a button? When are you going to see boost on that thing?

Anyone have one working nismo afm i could borrow to diagnose mine?
What is the problem? If you are running a PFC you could see the sensor input page and see the volts going into the PFC. You should be able to compare the both.

Series 2 is now finished here is a youtube video.

It is indicating a fault with the ignition circuit, probably best if you start a new thread on it so others can find this same info.
It is letting you know there is a slight resistance change somewhere inside a coil primary or ignition harness. Have you been poking around with the coils recently, or changing plugs? If not it sounds like you will be soon.
Mine threw this code when I had the Emanage Ultimate wired in.
Thanks Scotty. I haven't opened the bonnet for 4 weeks. My wife rang and said the engine light wont go off. Looks like a fun job to change coil packs. The code has cleared for now. Hope I dont see it back too soon.

Has anyone had a fault code P1320 ignition signal come up before on there M35?. Am I due for new coil packs? Or is it to do with plugs. Any ideas would be great.

I wanna see one with a mid mount 2j dumped on its guts slidin round mallala. if i win the lottery...
I don't think that will be a good idea going around Mallala. Wont it disappear if it hits 88mph.

Might be something under your console. There is a module in the 33 in that spot

I had this happen on a V8 I had rebuilt. The harmonic balancer actually broke the end of my crank off. Then when the idiots fixed it under warranty they never cleaned the journals out properly on the next crank which caused it to wreck the big end bearings. I had the engine out 3 times that year.
I would be taking it out to be safe.
Luckily the reputable business at the time is no longer around.

Why don't you get some connectors that can plug into your loom and then to the top of your new injectors. No cutting and is easy to swap back later. There are a few types of connectors around.
How To Adjust Hks Coilovers
in Suspension, braking and tyres

The hole in the middle of the top plate is for a long extension hex key for stiffening or softening the shocks. The 2 large lock rings on the coilover is for raising and lowering and the tyre valve cap is for pressurising the coilover with nitrogen. Don't undo that one.
