I had a spare switch to adjust height from inside and was very happy to find the plug behind the dash there! thanks, I now have hids installed and adjusted them at the headlight assembly. looks great and is much brighter.

I've done this mod last night, but i can't get a nice colourful image, seems that my headunit isn't outputting to ntsc. I get a flickering image in black and white . I have an AVIC F910BT which i can't find the output options. I'm guessing the video output is set by the headunit by the region. Anyways, i'll try to play a copy of a dvd tonight and see if that changes anything. I played a video from my iphone and it did the same flickering image. that's stupid that i can't change the output of the headunit. I' m tempted to start looking for pan to ntsc video converters.

good to hear your v spec has it, as soon as i get the car back from the tuner i'll have a look, i have a spare knob for the dash, i hope to find a loom behind the panel. otherwise yeh, might simply adjust it from the headlight. i would like them cause the hid is so bright and can annoy drivers infront. (my mates around the mountains lol)

My headlight is pointing way to low in my r34gtr and there is no height adjustments from the dash unlike my r34gtt. Is this normal? i'm tempted to swap the adjustable ones from the gtt to the gtr. any thoughts?

i'm not sure what this is called or what the part number is, i'm after the factory headunit surround and tray as I need to sell my r34gtt. I modified to fit a car pc with touchscreen but don't think the buyer would want it there. May be one of you have a spare one? i thought i'd just post it anyways. i'll try ringing some nissan wreckers today.
