  2. hi all i had a great time today cruising around and meeting some of you. will definitely attend some time again in the future. from the photo's uploaded, the beach cruise didn't look too bad either i'll upload the video from my car on youtube when i have the time tomorrow. looking forward to seeing the rest of the photos! brian (the grey r33 with bodykit)
  3. i ran windows 7 built 7000 pre-beta at my work on a VM and although it ran like shit (mainly because of my pc's specs), it really didn't look too bad. nice interface and a few new features chucked in like that redone taskbar. still very similar to vista but who cares?
  4. no wing will look nice and sleek i reckon
  5. count me in! i haven't been on a skyline cruise before so i'm looking forward to it
  6. Go Fast Bits 'Deceptor' Blow off Valve for Skyline GTST (Silver in colour) Still in perfect working condition, less than 1 year old. Reason of selling? Getting tired of defects, been caught too many times with the BOV on full volume so I have gone back to stock Note: this is the manually adjustable one from GFB, not the in car adjustable Product Info here: http://www.gofastbits.com/index.php?parent...tion=stealth_fx Price: $200 For now, pick up only. I am located in Campbelltown (South-West Sydney) If interested you can either PM me, email me, or call me on 0413 550 783 Thanks Brian
  7. Hi All, I've had my R33 s2 gts-t for around a month now, and I've grown tired of the heavy duty button clutch that was installed by the previous owner. I can see how it provides benefits changing gears on the track or on the strip but in my honest opinion its just crap to drive with on Sydney's busy roads (not to mention my engine is nearly stock anyway). So, I'm just wondering about downgrading back to a standard R33 gtst clutch, how much they generally cost, if they are available brand new or used, labour involved etc. If anyone can provide some insight that would be great. Also if you are from NSW (south west sydney area) and know some good knowlgable places to go to for this, please let me know Thanks guys!!
  8. wrcboi, there isn't much need to make two threads asking the same question. (P.S. Have you heard of Yellow Pages?)
  9. To pass pink slip the car must be roadworthy. This means working headlight + indicators + brake lights etc, safe tires, no serious damage, and also excessive modifications. Some places do let mods slide though
  10. Whether the kms done is genuine or not will be almost impossible to find out, especially if there isn't any service history etc. Best bet is to get it inspected (whether a mechanic, RACV, State Roads, NRMA - anyone know if they still do this?)
  11. In all honesty its just personal preference. I just recently bought a series II gts-t (pics coming soon) and couldn't be happier. Check out this thread I found it pretty handy: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/bu...e-f-t35129.html
  12. Haven't seen it yet, but I love the look of that colour!! (not the biggest chrome fan but hey everyone has their own taste ) I'll be sure to hit you up once I get my hands on a new car. There are some pretty nice skylines around Campbelltown!
  13. "You know this is bullsh*t!" "You work for Harry right?" "Yeah I just started" "-you were just fired" ----- Thanks Shane, yeah I definately would consider joining once I get one. I'm from Campbelltown. So far the car hunting isn't doing too well, saw 2 private sales I'm interested in, and checked the import dealers in Lansvale and they were in terrible condition.
  14. Hi guys and girls, I'll keep this short and sweet. My names Brian, I'm 20 from South-west Sydney. I'm currently looking around for a nice series II gtst and hopefully I'll have my hands on one within the next 1-2 months, whether pre-modified or completely stock only time will tell. Looking forward to my time here on the forums!
