hey guys i have a R33 series 2, the mods i have are 3'' full exhaust system, pod, hybrid intercooler, and safc2,11psi, i recently had the stock turbo rebuilt and hiflowed, anyway i installed the turbo took it for a drive and everything was fine until about 3 weeks later it started to boost to 15 pound after around 5,000rpm and fuel cut and noticed minor power drop down low, i took it down to a tuner near my work and they said it was a wastegate problem, what do you guys think?? cheers.

i pulled my turbo off my r33 gtst and i changed the exhaust manifold gasket and dump pipe gasket, i also got new washers for the banjo fittings...

hey guys im new to this turbo stuff but my 33 series2 is doing the same thing im quessing, i have rebuilt the turbo to ballbearing and hiflowed, it was all fine for about 2 weeks but then one night all of a sudden it would spike to about 15 pound or sometimes higher and start fuel cutting, i also have a safc 2 and i was going through it brior the problem, so i was quesing i through out the tune, i took it down to a work shop close to my work and they said its a wastegate problem, hitting the dump pipe, what you guys think?? any help would be great cheers...
