Hey guy's i blew the bottom end on my RB26DETT and am now up for a rebuild and ive decided to go rb30 bottom end . i will most likely buy all the parts and have it assembled by a well known local workshop. my questions are as follows i need either a series 2 VL RB30ET block or an R31 Block (pre drilled oil lines or something???) correct ? what sort of pistons do i need ? im on a tight budget and don't know weather to wait it out and get forgies or not what crank do i need what oil and water pumps are required where is the best place to get a bottom end ? im only aiming for 300kw so i don't need ridiculous parts cheers in advance !!

questions ! can i use an rb25 air con compressor on an rb26 and do i need to have the fans n crap on the front of the car behind the bonnet latch thingy do rb26 pistons and cranks go into rb30 blocks how do i tell if im missing the big aircon box thats usually under the dash (air con blows air out so i assume it aint missing lol! )

motherf***ers i ring them up , and they say i can get my p2's when ever , then "oh wait a minute you got done for speeding in oct last year, you should be disqualified from driving" im like , NO ... it was only 3 demerit points , "doesn't matter, you still should of been suspended" so at this point i am "excuse me ? , are you joking or something ?? i was told that i wouldnt be disqualified and now you are telling me different" "yes that's correct" now im REALLY pissed off and then the women says "you may receive a letter of disqualification" so i ask "may?" , "yes , you might receive a letter of disqualification" so now after ringing up to find out a simple frigging question , i am now shitting my self knowing that i might lose my licence over it what that f*** seriously!

so , ive just had a crazy thought . seeing as my car is off the road and will be getting a new engine soon so , im going to take everything i have to off the car to get it registered with a twin turbo but im also thinking of registering it as a 2 seater , taking back seats out and getting an ADR approved half cage is it possible to get it registered with the rb26dett , half cage & no rear seats ? is it worth doing ?
