sweet as do ya reccomend any places??

Hey guys... Just Discovered a Huge exhaust leak under the hood or my R34 skyline . Upon inspection turbo has worked itself loose fron the exhaust headers as a result to this i further discovered that the gasket between the two has fallen apart . Called just jap and they want $130 bucks for a new one. Does anyone know if this is reasonable or if there are any places in sydney (hills area pref) that you guys would reccomend?? Even if i can just get the gasket material and i cut it out myself Also does the turbo have to come out completely to replace this gasket or can i leave the oil lines on??? Any help would be apprieciated. Cheers Jason

yeah the exhaust is brand new just put it on a couple of weeks ago 3 inch stainless dumpie back hi flow cat and hks silent cat back system hmmm seems like its a normal thing lol Nice!

Hey guys just a question i have a r34 gtt and i recently put an exhaust on it and a pod other than that its completly stock but recently ive noticed when im driving flat out and i change from second to third i can see flames in my wing mirrors at night running at stock boost is this normal?? ive heard of boosted turbos blowing flames but not stocko ones should i be worried?

Also is there much mucking around with the traditional type of intercoolers, i have heard that people have to move the battery, modify air boxes etc?

Hey guys Im thinking of adding a Front Mount Intercooler to my R34 Gtt ive been looking on just jap and ive seen two types one where the pipes both go down to the right of the engine bay then goes behingd the cooler and has like a 180 degree bend to the left of the cooler and the other type is the normal one where the pipes go down both sides of the cooler whats the differecne between to two? and does brands matter please lets me know thanks guys Jason

ha yeah thought it was a bit low nah no oil light i was guessing about 4.5 litres all good now thanks

hey ppl just a question regarding engine oil how much oil does a R34 gtt need? im just changing oil and ive dumped the old stuff and it bareley looks like theres 2 and a half litres that ive dumped is this low? should of checked the dipstick b4 dumping but obviously too late to do that now lol thanks jason
