  1. im even more keen to get out there now after reading and seeing pics of the track day today! anyone do the last school? what costs are involved? $160 $10 entry $25 cams day license $70 fuel $100-$200 2x18" tyres, 2nd hand ??? yeh ive spoke to a couple of places about the TRD 1.5way, she aint cheap .... anyone got any preffered buyers online?
  2. yeh mate, ended up buying Rays silver 100. best car purchase ive ever made, fking love it. but yes there is a few things i would like to do before attempting to track it and just for more fun daily 1.5way LSD (any recomendations?) new rear diff bushes (shagged, one guess how?....lol) lower back moaaar

  4. im the same, if i dent or brake shit on the 100 ive got a solid weight for shit to get freighted from japland this being said, its drift school, not prac. your not expected to handbrake it into turn one. you go at your own pace and learn the basics of good car controll. shiiiiiit another motor? dude thats sucks
  5. $160, this is cheap by any means. limited to 50 people, you get 1 on 1 instructor time, do drills etc and learn the track and get free run later in the arvo. go to ns.com for moar infoz didnt you just get it in???

  13. i thought that would be the case, any most people who look at the car asume so. mine has tien coilovers in the front and HKS in the back, i couldnt tell you the pounds of the springs off the top of my head but its a cumfy ride, but basically zero bodyroll. the car only weighs 1400kg, its roof line is lower than my old mans evo9 and im pretty sure its lower than my gtr. in terms of length, pretty sure (no figures on me) its the same length as the gtr. match all this with the coilovers, thick as f**k strut brace, good rubber and it handles amazingly. this should only improve when i get the lsd aswell. its a very deceptive car, looks slow, definatly isnt

  16. jzx100 over a skyline any day no questions asked. buy a 33 or a 32 and your gonna no doubt get something that has been clapped to the hills, every car has most likely had a hard life but gtr's scream "limiter bash me".... both have outdated interiors, police hate skyrines, you get shit fuel economy in them, ride quality is always poor, turning circles suck. i could go on and on but just so i dont get raped this is all IMO..... but just happens to be shared by alot of people. it depends on what u want it for mate, the jzx for me i do over 500km's a week, i get 10l per 100km's city driving, its so torquey i never have to rev over 4-5k, power everything, seats are made for making babies in etc etc, i also want to get out to some drift pracs in it aswell once i get a few things sorted (namingly a 1.5way). if your looking for a daily driver with the track ability right there on tap go the 100, you wont regret it in the slightest *if i was to go a track (grip) car, it would be a 32 gtr.
  17. yeh mate, sold off the gtr a month or 2 ago and was gonna import a 100 from chef but this popped up at a price i couldnt refuse.... i can fully understand why people rave on about em now, so much torque, sounds so sexy, bawlah as f**k and super cumfy. only down side being parts are alot harder than a skyline to get. i gotta wait 2 weeks to get some pads made up by QFM up in qld lol.... as for ya rims, dude id love to buy em right now. but to be honest im still a tad shy of your asking price so gotta keep doing slave labour till the funds allow g-spec rims

  22. the front fenders have been replaced with massively pumped and rolled out guards, 9.5 +27 should be sweet there, would need a few good deg'z of camberz on the back it will deffo need some massaging, but guys run 10" with similar offset without too much hassle. but with the stud patern fit? edit*** 18x9+20 and 18x10 +18
