  2. Thanks man, its like an Autosalon in there, and I spotted the Ferrari. Its geeing me up to save for a custom black paintjob cause the factory paint anoys me, its got the orange skin effect (06 350z). Car companys even BMW and Mercedes dont do decent paint jobs like they used to.
  3. I thought your post was a bit brief but the website more than speaks for itself, thanks! I am gonna push for them to fix it they look very good.
  4. Has anyone heard anything about Californian Smash Repairs in Botany? Would also like some recommendations. FYI Panel One doesnt touch Japanese cars anymore unless your a returning customer. Cheers.
  5. Will do. Thanks everyone for the help, I will let you all know how it goes tomorrow.
  6. Yea to cover for the bargaining down of the insurance company. Theres about $8000 in damage to my rear end and its going to need a chassis alignment, its not just a side swipe or cracked bar. Tomorrow I am calling the AAMI ombudsman and apealing for choice of reparer under the facts that I have never made a claim in the 7 years I have driven, the car is less than 4 years old and that its value is high and that the accident was in no way my fault. Im then gonna take it to a 3rd place for a quote and then to my prefered smash repairer and try have it declared unsafe to drive.
  7. Arnt I allowed to see quotes so I can show my prefered repairer the competition? Terry: does the towy trick actually work?
  8. eMsta: how long ago was this, I have spoken to them about 5 times and no-one mentioned anything about that, the accident happened on friday night, so I will try do something on monday incase they only include buisness days. But does this allow me to choose the repairer? baron25: I have messages on my phone from him admitting to having no cover if thats enough, but JCI is giving the vibe that there gonna repair the car and worry about chasing him later. 33drifter: do you mean you havent come across a situation where JCI allow you to choose a repairer??? Red7: I have read it all even gone through the conditions, I have 3 levels of apeal: the accessor himself, the AAMI ombudsman and the financial ombudsman.
  9. They are being a bunch of stiffs. Someone has hit me who has no insurance. I have full comprehensive, so my insurance company is treating it like a claim, where they pick the repairer and then they tell the repairer to do a budget job. I am sure a lot of you guys are with Just Cars and probly some of you are with AAMI, so hoping someone has some advice to offer me so I can take it where I want to and get a good repair on my car. Possibly chase this guy up directly or write a letter etc?
  10. I have had 2 cars inspected by them recently. They are definitely worth using but the seller will tend to deny anything thats picked up so you cant get further information about why a respray has happened or why the back tyres are bald etc. They will pick up on things you will miss but they will also miss atleast 1 thing. In my case they picked up cosmetic repairs but said it woulda been a scratch and not an impact, but I noticed before the inspection that the same panel was slightly inconsistent compared to the other side which suggests a bingle as oppose to just a scratch, maybe I am wrong though but the owner was tight lipped(complete denial) so it must of been an impact. Another car they completely skipped the dirty condition of where the doors met the body in between the seals, but picked up on a lot of other things. Cosmetically you could pick up on anything they could apart from a really good respray without bodywork or things under the chassis, it would just take you 4 times longer to do. They are familiar with models and what are model specific characteristics(Nissan have noisy 1st gears), but the 2 mechanics standards differed so average for one mechanic could be good for another.
  11. My bad, I thought all Prescott were 775, don't worry about postage man.
  12. Yea when you use cruise control you come across drivers who obviously never have used cruise control. Your V35 is very tempting Bobby but I am going to give the 350z some more time to show up.
  13. K thanks, I wouldnt want an auto anyway. I just noticed they dont come stock with Cruise control I noticed it reading Bobby's ad.
  14. Thanks, what are the models -8 and CPV35? Edit: TT is out then. Is it common for these cars to be wound back?
