3 days after i bought my car i was driving around, not flogging it to get used to the car. Pulled up at a set of traffic lights next to a V8 holden ute. Lights turned green and he booted it and was off expecting me to race, which i didnt because of not being used to the car. Anyways at the next set of lights a cop sreemed up behind me, lights on and yelled at me to pull off the road. got out of his car, slammed the door and bullied up to my window where he absolutly did his nut at me because apparently he "heard your exhaust 4 blocks away" which was rediculous because i didnt even take it to 3500 before i changed gears lol looked over the engine and tried to tell me my STOCK BOV was illegal and so was my intercooler, which was bullshit anyways i got a warning for excessive noise and told if he saw me again that day he would fine me for it

woot im in freo:) we should have a SOR cruise where we all go down instead of north sometime

If its a fake HKS then throw it away, it aint worth it

Gday just changed the timing belt myself on my R33 (Rb25DET) Its not as complecated as you think the RB25 and RB20 front ends are pretty similar so u shouldnt have a problem the only problem ou might have is removing the harmonic balancer, which u need a puller for, but is fairly straightforward make sure when the cover is off that you replace the TENSIONER and IDLER. Theres no point changing your belt just to have a bearing seize 2000 km later The idler can be a little expensive (around 200 mark), with the tensioner around 120. no idea why its like that but hey it is lol

This is what happened to my standard nissan clutch friction disk after a uhhhh 'need for speed' was required off the traffic lights...... Oops!! lol Notice there is no clutch material left......... not recomended to boost a car with a standard clutch:) Exedy or similar heavy duty is the way to go!!

ebay is good i just bought a new TRIAL front bumper for my 33. The guy selling it was mybodykits recomend him because of his great service and quick dispatch on a side note anyone know how hard it is to get the front bumper off? i wouldnt think that it would be to hard

hey guys anyone had experiance in using a Textralia Clutch in their skyline? my stocky has gone in my R33 GTS im running 12PSI boost with front mount and pod filter. Eventually looking for around 300-350 at the wheels. Would like to know how the Textralia would go with the take off and everyday drivability if anyone has any experiance with these please help! alternativly any other clutches that will hold horsepower but still maintains everyday drivability would be appreciated thanks

looks like u got it man mine did exactly the same thing the other day (after screwing up a burnout lol) except worse it gripped for a bit and had to change without the clutch and start it in gear. but now it will select gear but has no drive its buggered lol

right with that one mate:) iv just replaced the belt on my 33, and its not a hard job to do just fiddly if your taking the timing cover off, for the sake of $70 i would bite the bullet and replace the belt. At least u have to peace of mind that you know its been done. of u can do it yourself it makes it easy:)

ah cheers mate iv heard different stories some people say its easy if your mechanical minded and some say just stay away from it i suppose itd be the same as most cam set ups wouldnt it i mean put it on TDC and mark the pulleys and crank and it shouldnt be that difficult from there ay?

hey guys just wondering how easy it is to change a timing belt on a RB25 mine has done 110 000km and really needs to be done do the idiler pulleys need to be changed as well? im short of money atm and just want it back on the road lol

thats wat i thought any ideas what getting someone to do it for me would cost?
