There are different variations of the RX6 turbo. Im using an RX6B hybrid - RX6B rear wheel and housing with a machined front housing and larger wheel (~67mm) and one of those on my stock motor (SR20DET) silvia weighing at 1250kg is pulling 124mph trap speeds on 18psi which is somwhere in the 360rwhp range i believe... boost starts building at a healthy 4000rpm (about 3-5psi) and by 5200 im at ~18psi...

How much boost on a stock head gasket?
TurbostyleR replied to GDZLLA's topic in Forced Induction Performance
if your using an RB20, RB25, or RB26 you should easily get away with around 20psi safely when it comes to head gaskets, perhaps even more on the RB26. Although as far as im aware your fuel should increase as boost increases, as you need to match the fuel to the air supplied to the motor, if your running lean then i would recommend getting a fuel pump, if not then i wouldnt bother replacing something that doesnt need to be replaced. -
the greddy blue plate on the turbo should give you an indicator on what variation that turbo is... Its generally the first line, it should say something like TD06-20G or T67-20G or something along those lines... that turbo should be good enough for 260-290rwkw's on a stocker RB25 motor, however i would be careful now and see what computer, injectors, and fuel pump your running, because if its stock i would recommend to get it checked out to see if its leaning out or pinging... Good combo but, if your into drifting thats the perfect combo!

yeah from what i have seen with camerons they are pretty damn good and they dont cost you an arm and a leg...

HKS Turbo's vs Garrett Turbo's...
TurbostyleR replied to GiJOr33's topic in Forced Induction Performance
ive heard nothing but bad stuff when it comes to hks...for example people put on a 25/35 and they end up making less power to what they originally did, i think the reason (someone else mentioned it) is that you need to run 2 bar plus to see the hks turbos shine, and i for one dont plan on running close to 30psi of boost! as for the difference HKS refine their housings, i dont think they do much with the actual wheels or bearings, but i do know they spend a lot of time fine tuning the compressor and exhaust housings to make them flow better. p.s. does anyone wonna buy my SAFC II?? please pm me if you do... -
try putting your boost down and see what happens, since its colder now maybe your overboosting and your car cant handle it
