Snow button makes gearbox take off in 2nd gear to prevent wheel spin. Power button allows gearbox to shift at higher rpm between changes.

Correct - that is the lifters you can hear

Did your mechanic check the timing Geoff? Is the timing adjustable by rotating the CAS like on the Zed or is that also controlled by the computer? Shouldn't be out of whack I know but it might have been fiddled with by the previous owner. And I assume you are running with 98 octane fuel. Cliff

Bottom button on the left brings up this screen. Use round navigation button on right to select the top button on screen (highlighted in yellow). Enter using round button. Toggles clock on and off.

Don't think there is a manual override. Sounds like burnt out contacts on the switch which can probably be cleaned up. Perhaps need to remove the seat to get at the switches though.

Can confirm that this works a treat. Just did the chrome around the door windows and then the rear window. Took about 15 minutes and my arm feels it so I'll do the rest later. Used Maquires window cleaner to clean off the polish residue. Perfect!!
