hey guys i took out my acc plug to set my idle and also to clean the acc valve, the spring in it move freely. now after i pull the brown plug out my rev doesnt seem as stable as it use to be. on cold start its 1000rpm it drop to around 750rpm but stometime it drop down to 650rpm the engine doesnt shake or anything. on my rsm the batt volt is droping to say 12.5 12,8 and back up to 13.5 what would cause this? i think my revs drop when the volt drop. but only when warm on cold the volt is like 13.9 and my timing belt is making the woo woo noise, so is it to tight? how can i losen it up? think it been change at 121000km [that wat the sticker say] any ideas

help please anyone.

woww amazing what you can hear with the screw driver! anyway ive found the sound its coming from the timing belt so what should i do? how to i losent or tighten it? i took of the cover last week it seem pretty tight but not that tight.

hey guys, just wondering how to tighten up the window it kinda loose like half way down it would wobble pretty bad.

thank for the terry on the timing cover it got a yellow gate sticking saying around 12000km so im guessing that when it was change and by looking at it i think the owner change all the belt and water pump too it look pretty knew. ill try that out tho thanks p.s i can still hear the sound anywhere and the light it make my head go crazy.

thanks for the reply mate, ahh yeah, the screw on my old s13 was fked too it wouldnt move. just had another listen to the engine the sound like its coming from the timing belt. but my fan seem really lose it spin really lose. should i try and change the fan 1st b4 going to the timing belt?

hey guys, just wondering what would cause the wooo woo noise it doesn't happen in the morning when the engine is like cold. only when warm. would if be the fan? also on cold start my car revs at about 900 to 1000rpm and drop down to 650 700rpm is that right? it doesn't shake or anything it nice and stable. just that woooo wooo noise is annoying me thanks

hey guys the noise is still there. if my rev is above 750 the noise wont be there but at night when i turn on the lights the revs drop and the woo woo noise would come back on. any ideas? the fan seem pretty lose, it spin pretty fast too.

i got the same problems, with the stock muffler it was loud on take off. it rattle hard. thought it was a broken muffler so i got a a cannon it was still there wasnt that loud tho. i was thinking it was the cat or the resonant

ok guys, i think i know it is the fan clutch . i was adjusting my idle and it went away but it would come on if rpm drop below 600-700?

i was thinking that it couldnt be the fan clutch cause everytime i go to tighten the fan belt it would stop then just pump up agian.

ohh ok thanks for that. so how do i know if the clutch is broken?

hey guys, i got this funny noise coming from somewhere near the fan belt. its like a woo woo wooo sound, it so loud it annoying. its come on when the engine is about warm, i would go and tighten it and it would stop then it'll start agian after a few minute drive. i've search and some say it the timing belt so i took of the cover and it look nice and tight not to tight tho. it has the gate sticker on the timing cover saying when it was change. but the timing belt is black i thuoght they were blue? the gates one? another problem is when ever i turn on the aircon i hear a click noise and just under the fan belt that thing that sping for the air con, it spin and stop then go back to spinning is it suppose to do that? i think it only start to happen when i started to tighten the fan belt. also my power steering feel abit harvey once it warm up also? sorry my english suck bad!! thank guys

hey guys, heres are the picture. also what do you guy think i should use to reseal it? and if anyone got some s2 headlight the dont need use like broken or something? im gonna be using this whole base thing, the height is a bit big but i'm gonna trim it down, and once it done ill be using that little round one for the parkers and parkers from the s2 as blinkers.i just need to find a set of s2 lights cause my car is a everyday car, i dont wanna drive with no headlight.
