  1. Just wondering if anyone on here is missing a R33 gtr? we go 4wding in forrestfield and saw a car body dumped in the middle of a dam a while ago, didnt think much of it but went out there again the other day and the dam had dried up, and realized it was a R33 and on closer inspection a GTR. Unfortunately it has been gutted an torched, hust wondering if it was anyone from here?

  4. Hey guys i've had my SAFC tuned a couple of times and am putting out 250hp atw, am quite happy with the power but the tune itself has some pretty bad dead spots down low, and i dont think the lower map setting has been tuned very well as its always kinda lulling during normal driving. Just wanted to know where some of you guys have had your cars tuned? Are you happy with the tune? and how were they for pricing? Any imput would be great as i dont wanna be wasting my hard earned cash!
  5. +1 <--- your car will smell like a mobile chemical pit if you stand anywhere near it also makes the back of your car go black as f**k
  6. when i first bought my car it was pretty standard, am now running FMIC, full 3" exhaust with nismo dump and front pipe, SAFC and turbo smart boost controller, and am now running a very nicely tuned 251rwhp. 11psi. have heard that the standard turbos are good for around 13-14psi, anything above that and you risk damage to the turbo, ie: disintergrating the turbo exhaust turbine in my case. My standard clutch also had to go, wasn't worn just physically couldnt clamp hard enough. also just a note, my housemate also owns a r33 with a similar setup, only he managed to score a Mine's ECU (i'm o so jealous) and at 13.5 psi, it's good for 301rwhp.
  7. Need to get a new water pump for me car, does anyone know wat the part number is for one and where i can get one here in perth? Thankx
  8. hey again, am lucky enough 2 have a house mate with an r33 gtst wid similar mods. His car idle's perfectly so i swapped my fuel press reg with his and still the same thing. Since then my car has started 2 stall randomly. Someone suggested my air flow meter is stuffed, but that has been swapped as well still with no difference. Has anyone had issuses similar 2 this? Please help!
  9. thanks for the help guys, might try and chase up another stock one or a cheap aftermarket one, just to clarify that was roughly 40psi at idle?
  10. hello all, had my car dyno'd and tuned last week, have bosch 044 fuel pump still with standard fuel pressure reg, and was told the the fuel pressure at idle is to high, hence making the car idle really rich and at around 1100rpm. Was told the the standard fuel pressure reg cannot physically bypass enough fuel back to the tank and could be putting excess load on the fuel pump at idle. I am running, Safc, bosch 44 fuel pump, 11psi boost, front mount. Was interested if anyone else running similar setups to this has an aftermarket fuel pressure reg, if so what brand? did u install it yourself and if anyone has any idea wat the correct fuel pressure should b in the fuel rail at idle? Any help/feedback would be greatly appresiated

  12. parked in inglewood, quite surprised cos ive been parking there for years and never had a problem. am a bit suss about some of the kids at the youth hostel down the road, saw them at the deli down the road the next day and they seemed a little too interesed in my car in the parking lot but wat can you do? not gonna bother with insurance at all just fix it my self. door still locks just cant use the key, which sux cos my central locking is f**ked at the moment. will definitely be more mindful of where im leaving my baby
  13. after parking my car our the front of a mates house, went out side this morning to discover that someone have completely smashed the key barrel in the door then left a huge dent where they have tried to pry the door handle open but with little success. am pretty pissed off but a f**ked key barrel and dented door in my eyes is far better than wat could have happened in the f****ts had managed to get inside. will get some pics up asap but just wanna remind everyone to be on there toes against this kind of suburban skum
