Thanks guys, just an update, im not buying the car after all, costs just started climbing before i could even see the car in person, a few other things as well, but other from that if anyone buys this car they will not regret it, its priced to sell and the seller is very honest and open with any inquiries, if anyone is interested, the car is on drive.com here:
http://www.drive.com.au/used-cars/NISSAN/S...716594&pt=1
Thanks for the advice again guys will keep them in mind for next time,

I agree that you get what you pay for, its just you have to remember who your potential buyers are, young p-plater kids (like myself) Its perfectly fine to list your car for what you think it rightly deserves, but i reckon the idea of selling an NA car is to tempt P-platers to not wait to get of their P's to be able to drive the car of their dreams. Just some figures, the last auto NA R34 coupe to sell went for 11,500 and the last manual NA R34 coupe to sell went for 15,500, in no way am i comparing the quality their cars to yours but just some food for thought.
KV2R34GT - no hard feelings =P
Just my 2 cents as i'm looking for a NA R34 myself, all the best with your sale i hope your car gets the price it deserves.

They are not genuine TE37 time attacks. Copies - Vork Rav wheels made in China. You can knock another 2k off if thts the case.
Thanks for the tip, he was selling them as replicas anyways and the asking price was gud but yeh thanks alot for that i didnt notice it till you told me.

I was looking to buy that car for a while, congrats on the buy it looks great! Im buying a NA R34 aswell and the exaust on it is a 4.5" Powerpro so i got to ask the seller if its under 90db. Only thing that put me off that was the price, the last R34 NA Auto went for 11500 here but it was a silver one so hopefully yours will do a little better come time to sell. Hopefully you got a good price for it, i don't wna be rude but are you able to disclose how much you were able to get it down to? If not, i fully understand. All the best, I am buying a Black NA Manual R34 Next saturday aswell hopefully, check out my topic under General Automotive Discussion.
Great car! All the best mate

Thanks alot for the kind thoughts, i am getting it inspected comprehensively by STATEROADS first thing this monday so that will pretty much determine how things will go when and if i fly down next saturday, also i may get him to get the dent fixed before we go down to see/buy it. Also i have an uncle down there aswell so he will go down to take a good look at the car aswell.
Thanks alot guys, keep the advice flowing!

Hey everyone,
So here's the story, I've been scouting faithfully for the better part of a year and i've finally found the car that i really want. It's a;
- BLACK R34 25GT COUPE
- Manual
- 78XXX KM's
Comes with a few cool parts,
- GTR replica 8000HID lamps
- NISMO eyelids
- NISMO shortshifter
- GTR replica front bar - UNFITTED
- 4.5" POWERPRO muffler
- DVD touchscreen
- LED foglights
- VOLK RAYS time attacks TE37's 17x7 - 114.3.5 - NEW UNFITTED WITHOUT RUBBER
So as you can see the last pic is a dint near the door handle aswell, which is quoted $400 to fix
The final price I've managed to get for the lot is $16,400, I feel the price is not bad since the cheapest NA Manual Coupe to sell on this site was a silver R34 which went for 15500 so all in all i think im getting not bad a deal.
But i will have to fly down with my dad $220 from Sydney to Melbourne and drive up and to fix the dint will be around $400. REVs and STATEROADS inspections are also being done $300 together
So i just wanted to seek some grey wisdom by running my plan by you guys in terms of covering the bases. Personally im a bit blinded by my love for the car and on a reasonable note i feel that its a fair price to pay for the car as i will have 2 projects (Rims and Front Bar) to do with it when i have funds.
Feel free to voice any opinions you guys might have, the last time i did this i got some heaps good feedback so i know you guys wont let a meek, nub p-plater like myself down. I need some of your experience to rub off on me!
Thanks a heap in advance, much respect for the members of this forum

Hey there, my dad is helping me to get a loan, i've been looking for a car no for a better part of 12 months and ive finally found one =D its a Black NA R34 Manual - $16400, the interest for the loan will go down from 6% to 5% so it works to be about 80 a week. But yeh i'm 19, work a part time job at KFC (LOL don't diss) and do full time uni, and i just started my managerial training to try and concrete my job so yeah. I'd only recommend that you don't go by finance, go via a personal loan just incase u want to sell it prior to completing your loan.
Hope that give you some insight if any,
Danny

R34's seem to be going through an incredibly hard time selling atm, they're beautiful cars, it sometimes makes me think about buying one for the moment.. Great car Brooks, hot 19's, as soon as i get approved finance you'll be hearing from me chap

Hey matt, yeh the warranty was the main pull for looking at dealerships but now it's hard to see who's on your side in terms of buying a car, a third party inspection would really help.
Cheers bud the support is appreciated

G'day everyone
just been on the look out for the last few months for a R34 Non-turbo
Ill just put it out there, willing to spend 12,000 for a stock and 15,000 for one with a factory optioned ALTIA bodykit
Cheers,
Danny

Hi everyone
I've embarked on a search to buy a non-turbo 2DR R34 and have been searching and learning plenty over the last 2 months, i'm just a young bloke turning 19 in November and i just wanted some mature/professional guidance on the subject.
I've been able to scout this 2000 R34 GT-V going for 20,990
This is from Edward Lee's Japanese Auto Center in Concord - NSW
http://www.japaneseautocentre.com.au/
Here's some pics:
I was very keen on the factory optioned altia body kit, but not so much any more
I've found also a R34 25GT with the same Altia Kit from a private seller going for 15,500 neg.
http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/privat...A&R=6094579
Here's some pics:
So as you can see they're pretty much identical in aesthetics and they both have the same engine, the GT-V has larger turbo brakes that's all
Can any offer any experiences on dealer/private seller dealings? and can you justify forking out 20K for a non-turbo automatic? i gave it some thought and personally i don't think forking out for a non-turbo auto is a smart move.
Please be hard critics as this is my first post, cheers guys
Danny
Buying An Na R34

Hey matey, i have plenty to learn i know, no need to flame. I just wanted people to get a good idea of the car to give some feedback, and in the end, costs and a few other things all factored in so it wasn't worth traveling down. Yes there are good cars in NSW, however the prices tend to be a bit higher here than they are over in QLD and VIC as well as more R34's in VIC, so to get the best deal you have to look everywhere.
Hope there's no love lost =)
