OK quick question to the pros, What would be best option ? I have basic mods...3",pod, FMIC, 12lb (man boost cont) It runs well, bit rich and not a real smooth power curve. I am limited in funds I have the option of a Blitz stage 1 ECU direct swap OR a SAFC. What do you guys reckon would give me the most benefits with regard to smoothing out the curve, and increasing power. I might add, If I would definately have to pay someone to retune the SAFC then pls let me know as I have to weigh it up in the price ECU $660 SAFC $250 Tune?? $500?? Any fast help would be greatly appreciated as I have sellers waiting /

hi all hope I don't get shot down for this on a skyline forum but I'd like to know what you guys reckon about the 3000GT not thinking of trading my beloved r33 but just tempted to buy this 3000GT I keep seeing (its been for sale for a while in Kingsley) Does anyone know about them? Are they quick, easy to modify???? Could it be more fun than my R33 ???????????

No all they do is heat up the guards and tap it softly for about 20 mins sounds strange I know but works real good.....no sign it has been done externally My rears were scraping at every bump and after lipping never had a problem again but as my wife usually says....no pumping I think they are in the phone book, but I have a card at work so I will have look tomorrow and let you know

I don't want a dyno readout at all ! As I said I don't even want to dyno my car I like everything about how the 33 drives (my first turbo) It is fast and I love the way it drives now But I want that extra bit of grunt Maybe 60-70 horses....just pull harder..a nice turbo hit and then pull hard No burnouts or crap... Does that answer your question????

Clutch is great Hyperdive seemed to do a great job Thanks all who gave advice I can recommend them and this clutch to anyone who has a modest Liner like mine

I'm more confused than ever now If I may can I refine my original question now I have more info. I reckon alot of guys have to me in my situation I have a car that goes pretty quick I just want it to go a bit quicker I am sure I don't want an all out race car just this one mod will do I have about 180rwkw and want to go to 220-230 AND THAT WOULD BE IT !!! I know it has to be a turbo upgrade and so an ECU upgrade (my stock ceramic is at its limit ...10-11lbs) What can I do for $1500 will a piggy-back do if I am absolutely sure there will be NO MORE MODS I have the exhuast, the intake and the FMIC I know I won't need injectors for this HP (have the in tank 500HP pump tho) I really don't want to go the dyno/tuning route if I don't have to....is this poss???....with piggy-back maybe???? But I will do it if I have to (maybe once!!!) Pls help someone

thanks for all the replies do hiflows cost $2000?? OK so I def will go Garrett / HKS turbo still unsure about which ECU will check out US suppliers now for POWER FC also found a bit about VI-PEC ecu $2000 but supposed to be the best performer and easiest to tune given up on Mines etc and piggy backs what about R32 ECU with a chip???......anyone had experience Come on I want to beat that crappy falcon P.S I am calling Kermit tomorrow re front/dump and cat

Hi all, I have researched this subject a little on SAU forum (the only one I use) but would still like some advice please. By the way thanks to all who helped me with advice on my clutch....I went to Hyperdrive and got an Exedy HD organic and love it!!!! I now want to increase power a little. At the mo my R33 S2 has approx 170rwkw Intercooler, pod with cold air intake and box, big fuel pump, manual boost up to 10-11lb, 3" cat back. The next thing will be front/dump pipe........After reading here I will probably go with Kermit for a 3" bell mouth .......good idea???? Anyway, my question really is what to do next...and I mean soon. I got blown off by one of those G6E turbos ...LOL I am thinking of hi flowing standard turbo and getting some ECU upgrade. But this is where it gets a bit fuzzy. I want to keep it as simple as poss. Therefore the hi flow route. I want approx 220-230rwkw. I want 1 bar boost. I don't want to have to do any more mods than I already have (except front pipe) I don't want to spend $1000+ on PFC and $500 on every tune. I would like to keep my budget down to approx $500-$1000 for complete ECU/ECU upgrade and tune. I see my options as a Mines ECU, piggy back setup (too many to choose), R32 ECU chipped. Any help would be much appreciated.

it is ADR approved and I drove it at night for the first time yesterday and it seems the same as before it actually looks better from the outside somehow with the lights on at night its like the the tint blacks out the rest of the headlight ie high beam side and leaves a more distinct headlight shape with this stuff as the surrounding light gets darker it seems to get lighter so in the dark it shows light from the headlight pretty much normal. you can see the blue of the globe hope this helps PS sorry it cost $150 which included a glassylite clean 1st. But I think it will cost more later as he said it was a special offer

Hi all, I have an r33 with approx 170-180rwkw and don't expect to increase that for a long time. My clutch is slipping and I have 2 choices so far. Could someone pls advise. 1 Hyperdrive exedy hd clutch fitted $950 2 AutoClutch extreme hd clutch fitted $700 Anyone had any experience with these 2 places / clutches Thanks

Just got my headlights on my R33 done with crystallite. Looks awesome. They had lots of small cracks and yellowing and now dark as and scratches almost invisible.

I agree. I changed gap on my coppers from 0.7 to 0.8 and it is ten times better. Just a little bad on cold start. I am now lookn at IAC or AAC valves. What do you think.I have previously tried 2 diff types of injector cleaner Wynns etc..............?????????????
