yah in the long term i'd fit a decent oil cooler.. at the moment i'm contemplating just a once-off track day (for now) - it'll be my first day out with the gtr so i want to make sure i'm on top of everything. thanks for ur response!

Hi all, what should i expect my oil temp on my R32 GTR to be at? what is considered 'safe' and when should i come off and let it all cool down? my ride is a relatively stock 32GTR (exhaust, filters, 0.9bar)..

i was also concerned with that, but i was hoping the formula R semi slicks would make up for the smaller road contact patch.. they are a very square tyre tho, look alot more like a 225 sized tyre on the rim.. i guess we'll find out when (if) i hit the track!

i trial fitted them last night - they do fit. the spokes get very close to the caliper, but dont touch...

whats the point of buying a turbocharged car if you're intentionally going to try and keep it off boost? to save money on fuel? if you cant afford to keep/run the car, you cant afford to buy it!!! sorry if that sounds harsh, but its a bit silly to say you're going to "..stay away from the turbo.."

I've got semi-slicks on my S15 wheels, and just in case i decide to take the skyline to the track i dont want to chew up my street tyres, so i was going to throw the S15/semi slicks on the GTR... (if they fit...)

sorry for the massive delay in getting back to this thread guys.. the car is still for sale. i'm surprised that it hasnt sold yet as it is a genuinely brilliant condition 32GTR (and i've personally seen alot of the rubbish 32GTR's that are being sold in sydney)..
