  1. yah in the long term i'd fit a decent oil cooler.. at the moment i'm contemplating just a once-off track day (for now) - it'll be my first day out with the gtr so i want to make sure i'm on top of everything. thanks for ur response!
  2. Hi all, what should i expect my oil temp on my R32 GTR to be at? what is considered 'safe' and when should i come off and let it all cool down? my ride is a relatively stock 32GTR (exhaust, filters, 0.9bar)..
  3. i was also concerned with that, but i was hoping the formula R semi slicks would make up for the smaller road contact patch.. they are a very square tyre tho, look alot more like a 225 sized tyre on the rim.. i guess we'll find out when (if) i hit the track!
  4. i trial fitted them last night - they do fit. the spokes get very close to the caliper, but dont touch...
  5. whats the point of buying a turbocharged car if you're intentionally going to try and keep it off boost? to save money on fuel? if you cant afford to keep/run the car, you cant afford to buy it!!! sorry if that sounds harsh, but its a bit silly to say you're going to "..stay away from the turbo.."
  6. I've got semi-slicks on my S15 wheels, and just in case i decide to take the skyline to the track i dont want to chew up my street tyres, so i was going to throw the S15/semi slicks on the GTR... (if they fit...)
  7. hey mate, sorry for the delay, I've PM'd you... Daniel
  8. sorry for the massive delay in getting back to this thread guys.. the car is still for sale. i'm surprised that it hasnt sold yet as it is a genuinely brilliant condition 32GTR (and i've personally seen alot of the rubbish 32GTR's that are being sold in sydney).. I've lowered my advertised price to $27,900 but am open to (reasonable) offers.. so no time wasters with low-mid 20k's please (fxuk i'm sick of time wasters!!!!). most recent ad: http://www.carsales.com.au/pls/carsales/!c...rch_distance=25 I'm not on here very often, so if you have any questions etc, please PM me and email me at [email protected]
  9. Will standard S15 wheels (16x6.5") fit on my R32 GTR (in terms of offset and brake clearance)? thanks in advance!
  10. thanks miss pie. car is in the trading post and carsales for $30,800 but i am open to reasonable offers.
  11. ok, all the Jap dirt and grime has been removed - car had a massive detail today and it is looking even better than i thought it would! its going in the major classifieds after the weekend, so any interest/offers, hurry up!
  12. lol, its amazing how many ppl have said 'finally a decent '89 32GTR in Sydney' - now just for someone to buy it!
  13. FINAL price drop - this car must be sold within the next 10 days $26,300 hey all, I've just had my R32 GTR landed, engineered and registered, but unfortunately I've lost my licence for 12 months and its just not financially feasible for me to keep it, so I've decided to sell it. The car is in absolute immac condition - the interior and exterior are hard to fault. Body is dead straight, not one ding, scratch, mark or fade spot. Interior looks brand new - everything is intact and nothing is faded/missing. The interior has two Recaro seats front, and the rear is retrimmed to match the front seats. The Recaro's look brand new (fitted in 1992) - their condition for 13 year old seats is amazing. Original steering wheel/gear knob/skyline floor mats are all in perfect condition Mods: Turbo back 5Zigen exhaust (nice and qiuet) Twin pod filters HKS Boost gauge/blitz boost controller/HKS injector pulse monitor (all in professional glove box install) R33 GTR wheels with almost new G-Grid II tyres (245/45/17) Aftermarket 300km/h speedo showing ~43,000kms (car overall condition indicates its probably not too far off - my mechanic guesstimates around 60-70k realistically) Damper adjustible shocks on slightly lowered springs MD player Apart from the above mods, the car is dead stock and in virtually new condition. It was imported through SVI in Brisbane (2nd car i've imported through them) - they were looking for a car in this condition for nearly 3 months for me. If I didn't lose my licence there is no way i'd be selling it. Its just had a major service through Autosport Engineering, and has just had 12 months rego put on it. CARSALES AD: most recent ad: http://www.carsales.com.au/pls/carsales/!c...rch_distance=25 More pics available on request... ** PRICE DROP TO $27,200 negotiable. Must sell ASAP (no licence, no point in keeping it) ** PRICE DROP TO $27,200 (ono) FINAL price drop - this car must be sold within the next 10 days $26,300
  14. The BEST importers as far as i'm concerned are SVI in Virginia, Brisbane. They are reliable, honest, trustworthy and no bullshit in anything they say/do. They're also one of the original importers around, so they know their stuff. www.svi.com.au or email the owner on [email protected] i imported my 180SX through them 18 months ago, and just finished importing an R32 GTR through them too!
