    Black R35gtr

Last night saw the r35 GTR for the first time at Gran Turismo Auto on Spencer st. MELB. What a sexy beast. i didnt realise how big they have gotten. Dont think the boffens at Nissan australia HQ. would be too happy about it. Anyhow it was an orgasmic experience and thought i would share. Cheers y'all....
  9. thanks to those that read my post. i followed it up by ringing pioneer directly. 2 things which i assumed was the case ; you do need to connect the hideaway box. power supply to the hidaway box has a constant power (yellow and 2 black) and 2 earth wires. and 2 centre output wires which are irrelevent in my case. the power supply lead had been extended. the mistake i made was that i assumed the red is constant and black is earth.(as it was a second hand unit) the moron who installed it in my friends car extended the wires but didnt follow suit. he used the black wire as power and red as earth. it was all taped up with electrical tape so i couldnt see what was going on. i should have untaped it and double checked. Lesson learnt here...no matter what install you do, especially if its second hand dont assume, make sure you check all wires from the source before connecting.
  10. hey guys RE: pioneer avh-p7550dvd can someone help me out cause im stumped! so far on the actual unit itself i have wired the battery accessory and earth rca etc. now my question is; is it necessary to connect the hideaway unit to make the dvd work? if so im unsure about the wires that come out from the "power supply" loom. i can see 2 centre out wires which i know are irrelevent but im not sure about the other two black wires and and yellow one? so far the dvd unit security light flashes but thats about it nothing else works. thanks in advance and cheers!!! Han

  12. in my opinion.... i have used both united plus and v-power. whether its psychological or actual gains i believe in my opinion the v-power was a much better fuel for my car based on daily driving performance and kilometres per tank. vehicle: r34 GTT sedan. completely stock no engine mods or exhaust. fuel period used: 1 month on each. route taken: same route 7days a week to work and back. result: the exact same route was taken each day. i did my best to drive it consistently for the 2 month test period. no flooring or burning people off at the lights mostly freeway driving with the occasional squirt. the result i got was 455km out of a tank filled consistently each time at 51 litres using united plus fuel. whereas the v-power gave me 475km out of a tank filled consistently each time at 51 litres. Not much difference in terms of km outcome however i did notice when using united plus petrol it did run a little more rough. cold starts were not as smooth as when i ran with v-power. when i did give it a little squirt it wasnt as smooth as v-power. v-power just seemed more suited to my car. the engine seemed more responsive and quieter and not as hesitent. Overall a much better fuel in my opinion. In conclusion i would have to say, if you can afford to drive a turbo car or any type of sports car, the last thing you should be complaining about is fuel. Dont be a tightass over a couple of dollars because at the end of the day if all fuels were priced the same i gurantee everyone would be using "reputable" brand fuels. cheers everyone
  13. makes sense cause at the end of the day its still 35w. Thanks to all appreciate ya input!
  14. Hey all, hope everyone had a good chrissie and new years. Just a quick question...does anyone know if you can fit stronger hid globes (being 4000k 6000k etc) to the existing standard setup. i have been told that there is a possibility of burning out the lines because factory wires cant cope with more current drawn. Cheers all.
  15. two thumbs up nice pics!!
