  1. Hi guys, I have two consult cables up for grabs. One on the left was purchased from ECUtalk about a year ago. Originally paid $70, selling for $30 http://www.ecutalk.com/interface.aspx One on the right was purchased from ebay, never used as it didn't suit the microcontroller i was working with Selling for $15, paid $35 new. PM me if you are interested or send a text to 0401 784 025. Located in Rowville, VIC. Thanks.
  2. Sure do! Since child hood. Help her out guys!!
  3. Haha, how do you know Lisa? Edit: Sorry stupidly missed 'friend at work'
  4. Hey guys, Is anyone looking to get rid of a stock r34 gtt exhaust preferably in the south east suburbs? Only require from the cat back. Please PM me with location and how much you want for it. Thanks, Luke
  5. The problem you describe sounds 100% like afm. I can replicate this problem by disconnecting the afm. I highly doubt it's the o2 sensor, you'll find your car should run fine without it albeit higher fuel consumption. You'll eventually get the check engine light 2 to 10 minutes after the car is started when the o2 is disconnected.
  6. Lol i'm actually doing a similar uni project using the standard nissan console port, lots of programming, a few arduino microcontrollers and some cheap radios (Wireless telemetry basically). Fun actually doing a project i have interest in. If a powerfc is anything like the nissan console port, it will not talk to you unless you send the init sequence, followed by the relevant command, ecu register, etc. Even then, the data it spits out needs to be converted. Unless you have some sort of reference, it may be extremely difficult to achieve this. In my example, i used the following resource for the nissan console port: http://www.plmsdevelopments.com/images_ms/...table_Ver_2.pdf
  7. Parked next to a white gt near glenferrie oval yesterday. Came back to my car to see the spot next to the gt empty. Needless to say i shat a substantial brick before realising the gt moved and my car was still where i left it!
  8. I was worried i would damage them, you need to make sure the ratchet head is firmly inserted otherwise you risk rounding it. If you've rounded them you might be in trouble, i couldn''t believe how tight they were. There was also lock tight applied to both bolts which made it even tougher
  9. Just did mine. The bolts are absolute C U Next Tuesdays to get off. I used a 1/2" Ratchet and a small pipe as a breaker bar, had to push myself on the ramps to get enough force to get them turning. Another tip, head to supercheap and buy a $6.99 syphon, it's the best $7 you'll spend and made the process of filling up the gearbox a painless, fast task. I used VMX80 and the difference is unbelievable, it feels like a new box. Highly recommended to anyone, just ensure you have the right tools because you'll only end up frustrated
  10. I remember having my auto license and learning to drive a manual excel. I was pretty hack (Just grasping how to drive a manual car on the road) and managed to go through a booze bus nicely. All i could think of when i blew into the breatho was: don't f*** this up, take off smoothly. I agree with peter89, pressure works well!
  11. Yep it is pretty bad, very suprised they haven't done anything about it.
  12. Ahhh yes the humble neo, i'm happy with my economy, i get around 500 too
  13. That's exactly what i did mate. You lose your auto restriction once you graduate to full's. Wonder how long it will take the government to wise up to this and put a stop to it?
  14. Sounds like a typical bazza in a commodore
