I highly recommend checking out the car before making the purchase. I agree that the best quality comes through main auction houses in Japan, however, why would you save couple of hundred dollars on a car that is worth more than $10k, that's just silly. if any one interested to have their cars checked for FREE at the auction, please let me know!

Why not? The flights are cheap, the transit is reasonable (assuming you do not want to drive yourself). I had a car shipped to a customer in Adelaide (from Sydney) the cheapest quote was $400. If you drive you need to fill up your tank twice. All you need to worry is to do a roadworthy test in your state, if you know people you will get it sorted too.

Thanks 99 GTT, Well, i will have to double check the hand break, but i think it would be connected. With DVD player, the thing is that it does not want to take in any CDs or DVDs, not mentioning that it will not play them. Looks like the units (screen + DVD) do not have power cable plugged in. Seems that there is power in both of them, since when it is dark and i turn on lights they have lights on as well.

Hi guys, may be you have experienced the same problem. recently I bought CPV35 with so many features that my head is bursting..... however.... most of the features do not work. Here is what i have Pioneer carrozzeria AVIC - XH990 sound system in my car (that includes- Sat nav unit with DVD/CD player, Radio tuner, Screen for DVD and Sat nav, Japanese tolling unit (for their roads), rear view camera- located just above number plates (when reverse parking), some antennas on my windscreen, two remote controls, Maruhama camera, memory unit, etc.... The thing is- from everything above only FM/ Am radoi work. Well, kind of works. Since i have not installed converter for OZ it still catches few stations. Can anyone help me you tell me how would know to do the following???? Screen does not want to turn on at all My reverse camera does not work (since the screen is off), tried all buttons, all remotes- no luck Cannot play any CD/ DVD in the pioneer unit Have no idea what Maruhama camera is for the biggest concern is the screen, CD/DVD player and reversing camera. i have noticed that navigation block is missing from the unit, could that be a problem? I attach all the pics that i have Any information is appreciated!!!
