  1. Ok got a question to Sydney Kid

    I`m after these parts..

    Camber KCA 348

    Camber KCA 347

    Adj. Stab Bar. BNF27XZ

    Adj. Stab Bar. BNF11XXZ

    Subframe Align. KCA349

Wondering how long to get these parts and can you send to Jappa...need em asap

Go to the Whiteline WEB site and order them directly. They ship to Japan.

The small suspension components would be cost effective freigth wise, maybe the sway bars would be expensive to freight.

    Cheers

    Rob

  2. Rob

Thats exactly whats going on, cinstant fight with the wheel.

Before I do new alignment I want to upgrade the suspension, just wondering what parts of the whiteline kit would be of benefit. Most camber adjuster kits here in Jappa are sypherical bearing types which I dont want as new laws here on rego that they cant be used plus the car will be sent to oz sometime next year once all mods are finished, to be sold.

    Check the Whiteline site

    http://www.whiteline.com.au/

Key in ONLINE PARTS CATALOGUE top right hand corner - nissan skyline r33 gtr

This will show all the parts available

Front Camber - KCA 348 will take out 1 deg

Rear Camber - KCA 347 get 2 kits and use one at each end of the arm - this will take out 1.5 deg on the rear

I have used the rear kits and they work well.

    Cheers

  3. All bushes are sweet, its just been on the rack at HKS. Before I got wheel alignment done it was pretty sweet, the wheel alignment was done at different shop (Super Autobacs). As for ride height I`m pretty sure front is 350mm cant remember rear off hand. I`ll check in the morning as its pissing down outside and bloody freezing, had first snow 2 nights ago.

I`m trying to get the suspension setup real nice for the street, plus the odd track days each month.

    Appreciate the info!! :P

I`ve spun the before align pic around the right way

    Hi,

I'm no expert but it looks like you have about 5mm of TOE OUT at the front.

I would bet if this is the case your car will be picking up all the camber changes on the road and steering into them.

Get the front toe changed to toe in by a mm or so.

    Cheers

  4. hey, just been reading your wolf 3d install and using it to help me install mine. ive got it alll sorted out except for one bit. The Air temp sensor. cant figure out how to wire it in. Im not to keen on pulling the the unit apart just wanted to wire it into the plug i was wondering if you could provide any info that would help me out.

I realise you wrote this along time ago but thought i would give it a try because im dead set stuck

    Thanks

    Landy

    Hi Landy,

After a bit of head scratching I realised the answer to your question is in the article!

    Modifications to Wolf ECU board

The notes supplied with the Wolf ECU showed the temperature sensor mapped into a spare pin on the wiring loom. I chose not to do this but to cut tracks on the WOLF ECU and hard wire the temperature sensor via a plug and socket directly into the new ECU. I did this so I could plug the standard ECU back into the wiring loom at any time.

    post-5900-1221746440_thumb.jpg

The picture shows 2 wires for the air temperature terminating inside the ecu.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers

  5. Try this number Rob:

    Superior Suspension

4 Lincoln St Minto NSW 2566

    (02) 9603 0100

I hear your fustration. Mine was a couple of weeks without any response from Gary or Matt. I think putting cash upfront and having to wait 2 months is unbelieveable! Gary is very knowledgeable, but there is no way i will ever buy from his group buys again. It seems Gary+Matt are too busy, i'd rather pay retail prices next time and not have the stress of chasing the boys all the time.

    Cheers,

I will try the number later today.

    Hi Matt,

I would like a response to this query regarding the progress of my order for a R33 GTR suspension kit.

I transferred the money late in June - some 2 months ago. You advised me delivery would be 2 weeks and since that date I’ve had no replies to any of my PMs. As mentioned in my previous PMs, I'm not busting for the bits I just want to make sure you received the money and what the expected delivery date is.

Please contact me by PM or mobile.

  10. have a v4 with hand controller which comes with a loom (aka not a plug n play item, loom is modified for tx3 turbo) so i bought a 76 pin connector to replace my r32 rb20det ecu in my vl... but, the connector and the wolf 3d's plug for the loom is totally different!

Suggest you contact the manufacturer - they may be able to assist.

    http://www.wolfems.com.au/

If you check the WEB site, click on downloads, and then select manuals, you may be able to determine the pinouts required.

    Sounds like a big job.

    Good luck.

    Rob

  11. i cant find anywhere else on this site that i could ask a Q about this item??? can someone point me in the correct path??? i need urgent help!

    Hi,

What is your question? I may be able to hep if it is to do with the Wolf ECU.

    Cheers

  12. ok, so have ajust jap kit and i havent installed it yet. since with this device installed, there is extra oil cooling capacity...should we be disconnectiong the old oil cooler from the water cooling system???

take this quote from the trust greddy oil cooler product:

Factory oil coolers are normally small water-cooled devices sandwiched between the oil filter and engine block. These tax the cooling system even under normal driving conditions. GReddy / GREX oil coolers are an excellent addition, and are especially effective in harsh driving environments. By using a similar inner-fin core design as our famous intercoolers, we are able to increase oil capacity, decrease oil temperatures, and extend engine and oil life.

so based on the fact that we have extra cooling capacity now from the oil cooler, should we be bypassing the water factory oil cooler so as to enhance/help the water cooling of the engine???

It would be a messy job to bypass the standard water/oil cooler, I would suggest you just fit the oil cooler adapter plate between the oil filter and the standard water/oil cooler.

    Cheers

    Rob

  13. G'day ahh 33 s2,

My Skyline had a Blitz front mounted cooler attached. The pipes went through the standard holes in the left wheel arch so there was no issue with the right hand side.

I guess if your cooler pipe goes through the right wheel arch then you may have to mount the oil cooler in a different place.

Maybe someone else out there can help with suggestions???

    Cheers

blk33 do you have a front mount when your installing this... as i have a hybrid with hybrid piping and it does seem to pose a few problems??
  14. just a quick question, oil volume, do you add extra oil once you have installed the cooler?

i have a kit sitting here ready to go on (need to find the rubber o rings) but am unsure if i need to add extra oil to engine??

brain says yes, just wanting to confirm...

    cheers, Matt

As Syphon says "yes" is the answer.

Additional oil is required to fill the pipes and the oil cooler.

I have estimated an additional 1/2 litre for this purpose.

    Cheers

For Sale - Skyline 1996 R33 GTS-T Series 2 Black Turbo Manual (Melbourne)

    Hi All,

Regrettably the time has finally come for me to sell my beloved project. I’m planning to upgrading to a GTR in the near future and I need the cash. I’m her first Aussie owner; she was delivered in August 2002 with only 56k on the clock in stock standard condition. I average about 5000km per year in the car, the car is garaged when not driven, and very rarely sees any wet weather.

I have built the car as a SLEEPER and have done all the work myself. Open the bonnet, listen to the engine, walk around the car – it won’t attract any undue attention from the Police. It has a high flowed GCG turbo and a fully sorted out Wolf 3D engine management fitted. Currently the engine turns 220KW at the rear wheels with only 11 PSI boost. It is fitted with a 3 inch mandrel exhaust from the turbo, a high flow Cat and has a QUIET muffler. (Can supply louder muffler) The combo has the potential for 250KW but requires larger injectors. The car rides like a dream and is fitted with SAU group buy suspension comprising of Bilstein Shocks, Whiteline Springs and Nolathane suspension bushes.
